I loved the bands that were in this film. What is the name of the website from one of the guys that is interviewed that is something like gigguide? I'm planning on heading to Japan soon and I would like to make some plans around which bands I can watch live.
The majority of these bands could be equated to what American "hipsters" listen to. It's pretty disappointing to me that you didn't include any of the indie visual rock bands. Although each rock sub genre in Tokyo really deserves it's own documentary. In any case, the indie visual rock scene IS independent music from Tokyo and it's upsetting that it would be left out.
Where/When can we watch this?

I wonder if the consumption of whale meat has anything to do with all this. Part of the mix, surely...but to what extent?
