I really don't know how Obama claims he can win "a debate over protecting the USA" Vs. a retired navy captain who is literally twice his age and has been in senate ten times as long as he has.
Last time i checked Obama is a monkey, and navy captains know more about protecting the united states than monkeys do... ecspecially monkeys with no experience or qualifications... i guess he is a pretty monkey though, and his voice does sound nice
It looks like Obama is already failing as our presdient. Only a little over two months in office, I knew this would happen. HE IS SPENDING TOO MUCH MONEY! Now George Bush doesn't seem so bad does he.

So i have a good reason and you need to shut the hell up because you dont know me or my family! and we believe in the war 100%. You go vote for that stupid ass whatever he is and watch the country be bombed again!

I think you are both wrong, I don't agree with the war but I also don't believe Obama or his policies is going to be the person to lead us out of it. We need someone who can really lead this nation and do what we need, instead of what we want to hear. Thats why this democrat voted for McCain.
If you think McCain was going to deviate from Bushies path, at all, then you aren't paying attention. All of these sellouts are working for the same agenda.

It is unrealistic to assume that either one of the candidates can solve the issues in Iraq or any of the bad business deals from the Bush family. Bush Sr.'s problems bled through the Clinton presidency. They were too preoccupied and were somewhat aware also unable to conceive the seriousness because they were never truly informed. The only people who can fix the Bush admin's problems are the Bush's - SR & JR. Whether they have the strength or morals to do it will be seen in the next FIVE MONTHS.
Did you hear...Obama chickened out on the 'face to face' townhall meetings with McCain. I guess the fact that he (Obama) would not have access to a written speech or a teleprompter scared him silly! LOL!!!
No, he didn't "chicken out" actually. Read the reasons. Obama doesn't want to waste his time doing 10 debates with the underdog. He wants to meet with important folks - The American People. He has done over 20 debates with Clinton, but wants to have a few debates with McCrap. What both sides don't want is the Media to hijack the events. Speaking of teleprompter, I hear McCrap needs more practice.
Well he wants to spend time with his children. They are in their teens and I remember being that age and I really did not want anything to do with my parents. That is the time when you are developing a sense of independence. When I was about nineteen I wanted to get to know my parents better. Now I am 25 and I am realizing our differences and how it effects the both of us. So honestly I think they both probably need to spend more time with their families! Just a very STRONG opinion!
Well if you remember the underdog was Obama and then he came back so the same thing could happen with McCain. They both need to work out a time to do it mutually! They are both running so I mean come on! Work it out! Yeah and I still do not really care to be around my folks and I know people who are 35 that still do not like to be around their folks! I don't know how to change that. Good luck.
Ya know what blackwater, Obama got it. Whoever gets voted president in Nov. will spend the first year or even two years trying to fix the screw ups W. made, unless it's McCain who is voted in, cause he'll just keep the same things W has. This country CAN NOT take 4 more years of that, guess what blackwater....IT'S TIME FOR CHANGE!
Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." clear? :)
Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
And Jesus would never be on the democratic ticket so I don't think that's an issue :) especially considering the Bible explicitly states that being gay is wrong as politically incorrect as that sounds.
Where does the Bible, "explicitly state" that homosexuality is a sin? The only place I can think of that really mentions it would be Sodom and Gomorrah, but that's vague at best. Also one might mention the law set forth in the Hebrew Scriptures, but Christians and many Jews don't follow most of them because they are outdated and were set up for a tribal society.
In fact, Jesus would be more of a Democrat because of his teaching to care for the marginalized and separation of church and state.
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Leviticus 18:29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
These three are from the Book of Leviticus which outlines the Jewish law. Absolutely nobody follows these laws anymore because they forbid eating pork, seafood, etc. And the other sources you quote are St. Paul's letters. St. Paul was opposed to fucking in general. He wanted everyone to remain celibate and preach the word of God. You're welcome to go ahead and do that. Also, even if homosexuality is wrong, which it isn't, separation of Church and State means queers should be granted equal rights
k well look at romans and corinthians...those are all in the new testament :) marriage is something sacred between a man and a woman-all people DO have that right if they choose to take it
Obama doesn't even know the number of freakin states in the US!!! He mispoke whatever idc he still said 57 states. He also can't make up his mind about oil, if you pay attention to his history he is completely inconsistent in what he's voted for and incapable of running this country. He fumbles over his words in his debates and only can speak coherently when he gives a speech written for him.
I am tired of this CHANGE B.S., the fact is Obama wants to change things to screw us over, whether he realizes it or not. If he gets elected, he will take the troops out of Iraq leaving the Iraqis high and dry, causing even more instability in the region. You think oil prices are high now? Wait until the massive withdrawal with our collective tails between our legs. Right now Iraq is more stable than its been than this conflict started, and you liberals want to go jack up our gas costs.
I would take a gas price hike to save tens of thousands of American troop lives. Besides, if we had the self discipline to drive less and use public transportation, gas pricing wouldn't be an issue
You know what, Obama is right. You like it or not, we NEED CHANGE!! I would like to think ALL americans are tired of the negative politics. Yes, I am on the Obama campaigne. I believe he can bring change, he is the most honest polition i have ever heard. He will do good for our country...he can't do it in 4 years, his first two years will be fixing the screw ups bush has made. He will bring us change guys. give him a chance.
at least us Obama supporters won't jump off a cliff in ritual suicide like you Bush/McCain supporters. I was hoping after the 06 election you people smartened up, but I was wrong. Your still the same brainwashed gun crazy hicks. I bet if Jesus was running on the democratic ticket you wouldn't vote for him. America is dying and you're helping it along. Vote McCain and America will be dead in four years. Vote Obama and it will be new and great again. Take your pick crazy redneck.
You show your ignorance in every word you type "free" bassman. I do not know man "crazy hick rednecks" here in New Jersey... (another sad blue state). You and your ilk need to tell yourselves stupid theories like like this to explain why everyone is not brain dead like you.
Jesus would never be a democrat... the party of willful killing of the innocent unborn and the party attempting to have his values removed from our society in full.
If a woman is raped and cannot afford a nine-month pregnancy because of her occupation, what do you think she should do instead of getting an abortion?
Since the government loves to create programs for "lazy" people that do not want to lift themselves up and get a job, They can create a program to assist a women who "truly" is a "victim" and protect the second "innocent" victim... "the child". This is a program I would not object of.
Republicans object to gays getting married, Democrats object to letting children live... who is worse?
bush is right on this issue (maybe not for saying it there).nothing obama can say or do will stop iran and other Islamic extremest from wanting to attack isreal and and their allys. he will only give them 4-8 years of status quo, and that's what they want. also if obama wants to use the premise that mcain is like bush, then that's a clear invitation for bush to enter the campaign and attack back. frankly maybe bush should stuck up for his positions years ago and not waited till election year.
George Bush says he hates Iran, but viewing the situation from the outside in, I would say they are the best of friends. George Bush helps Iran's agenda in every way. He is even using his propaganda technique's to spread the rhetoric of Amadenajad.
If you hear over 100 times per day "Stinking Corpse" linked to the name Israel, eventually every time you hear the name Israel, you will automatically think of a "Stinking Corpse"!
George Bush and Amadenajad based on the facts are on the same side!
1. What will fracture and break the alliance between the Democratic Neo-Cons and the Republican Neo-Cons?
Answer
The number of times per day the Republican Neo-Cons link Israel to a "Rotten Stinking Corpse"!
The result of continuing to mention this in every news cycle, every day, every minute of every hour is to slowly spread the image throughout the population. This is called Catapulting the Propaganda. This will turn Neo-Con against Neo-Con!
Bush's method of powerhousing the middle east has made the enemy 10 times stronger is the last 10 years. If Jews can't understand this, then they are idiots and deserve what is coming to them as the Arab extremists rise in power.
It's funny to hear people like btownhotties regurgitate republican political rhetoric as if it were true. People are not listening to Obama at all. Negotiate with IRAN, not Hamas or etc. IRAN is a country that play a huge part in the future of Iraq. The negotiation on the table is stop nuclear ambitions and support for terror groups like Hamas and we will lift sanctions.
"The negotiation on the table is stop nuclear ambitions and support for terror groups like Hamas and we will lift sanctions." That's the deal they already have been offered. Do you simply think they'll take the deal if Obama says it to Ahmadinejad directly?
VRWCnetwork - What we have done is turned our backs on them and refuse to talk to them like they really care. This gave them plenty of breathing room to expand their nuclear programs while funding militia in Iraq. Tough talk and sanctions are very counterproductive with Iran. Diplomacy with these bastards is our last hope before the inevitable nuke war.
Do people realize that jews are frightened by this guy! i and my jewish friends are voting for mccain, it's not a debate ABOUT America it's about ISRAEL! obama never says he strongly supports israel, the only place jews can be safe if another holocaust should happen. Some people don't realize how important it is. AND YES obama wants to talk to a the terrorist group and "negotiate", which is appalling-i'm surprised that i'm actually agreeing w/ republican's lately... because of obama
Obama won't "change" the situation with a talk in the middle-east to stop killing each other, no matter the bribe or absurd 100+ terrorist network plan he backs it up with. The guy just doesn't get it. Empty rhetoric, blown out of proportion. More fools gold for fools to jump for
very silly stuff this guy says. but fun to watch. a soap opera for the white house
Bush never mentioned Obama. His comments fit Carter and Pelosi better because THEY have actually met with known terrorists. Obama is just talking about negotiating with Iran.
This may be the most brilliant political trap ever. In a few short remarks, Bush has completely shifted all of the discussion to appeasing terrorists. W loaded the weapon, handed it to B.O. and Barack fired it at himself over and over. -And B.O. promised more in the future; "anytime, anywhere!"
Is that all you got, sirfingerlock? name calling and insults? Yeah, you are the party of tolerance. Go back to your female wrestling videos and leave opposing Islamofascism to people who understand to value of peace through strength.
Now where has Obamao or Clinton said they will stand up and fight terrorism? Where have they said they will risk the lives of American soldiers to save the lives of those who are oppressed by radical muslims? Where have they said they will fight for the freedom of Americans against the hateful muslims who have rallied together under Jihad? When i hear Obama or Clinton say they will use what ever it takes to oppose terrorism then i will consider them strong enough to be leaders of America.
Hey hotshot, Bush tried to hide it by not mentioning Obama by name, but soon after McCain, who is (amazingly) even stupider than Bush, made the same exact comment, except he DID use Obama's name! And then you had people like Kevin James (right-wing talk show host) say that Bush should have made it clearer that he did mean Obama! What does that tell you?
What it tells me is that the Bush's plan is to let republicans use this "quirk" statement iin the general to compare Obama to Jimmy Carter. Most americans with any common sense will not like the thought of a current presidint running to sit down with terroist leaders to have tea. Carter was, and still is, the absolute worst president this country ever had. You libs keep telling yourselves and the dumb americans who listen to you that Bush is... the truth is crystal clear as is Obama's loss is.
cont., Since you have taken the liberty to use a call sign of "HotShot" for me... may I use "DumbShit" for you? I do not believe that one is being used currently, and I can get you listed as an honorary pilot with that name. Send me your complete contact info. and I would be happy to oblige.
"the truth is crystal clear as is Obama's loss is."
No, it's as clear as is your grasp of grammar is. :)
The Republicans hate their candidate--even after winning enough delegates to become the presumptive nominee, McCain CAN'T surpass 80% of the vote in any primary. On the other hand, Democrats have shattered voter turnout records all across the country. Even little Hawaii broke its turnout record by a factor of NINE.
Wow... you caught me making a typing mistake... you must be a genius.
I do not like McCain either to be honest. I will be voting for him like many of Hillary's voters will be, holding our noses. Your boy will not win... sorry to break the news to you. Breaking records for primaries means nothing for general elections. The polls say whatever the people tell them... most will not admit to not wanting a black man and his "chip on shoulder and yes, bitchy" wife running their lives (symbolically).
So you're a Hillary supporter, and even though she said it would be a terrible mistake (Google the phrase "Hillary Clinton on Wednesday reiterated her vow" to see it) to vote for McCain over Obama, you're going to do it anyway?
Do you want women to lose the right to choose? 'Cause that's just one of many backwards things McCain's Supreme Court will do.
My guess is you're either not aware of how much worse McCain would be than Obama, or that you're lying about being a Hillary supporter.
I am not a Hillary supporter, I was a Fred Thompson supporter on ideas.
Right to choose??... why not give that right to the unborn? Better, I would like you to give the right to your mother today and see what she would choose for you. If she could get all of your education, food, clothing, and misc. expenses back today in one lump sum, would she go back in time and abort you?... I bet yes in your case.
"Bush Attacks Obama"... Really? I never heard a single name or party of people mentioned in this speech. At least Obama and the rest of you libs understand you are exactly like whoever Bush was talking about or you would all not be so defensive... another classic toss by Bush and all of you fools take the bait... And Bush is the idiot? I think not.
No go ahead like you "free speech" libs always do... take your thumbs out of your asses and click the thumbs down to hide this post... Sad group.
Do you think the American people are really that stupid, that they didn't know who he was talking about? What about when McCain repeated Bush's statements, except he actually DID mention Obama by name?
Bush magically didn't mean Obama just because he didn't mention him by name...Really?
The American people are not nearly as stupid as you wish they were.
You do know that Obama gets the most votes among the most intelligent and most highly- educated voters, right?
Kind of sinks the "stupid people" concept.
What would be stupid is voting for McCain, who's against the country on its second-most-important issue, Iraq (most people want us out, he wants us to stay), and he admits he knows little about the economy, which is the #1 issue among American voters.
He wants to run for Bush's third term. Frankly, anything's better than that.
Being intelligent or having the highest education does not guarantee that you will have any common sense. You seem intelligent, but are responding with stupid, and "pie in the sky" conclusions.
I have realized that liberals approach everything with this "pie in the sky" attitude instead of a reasoned and responsible angle and choice. Your "cult" of "highly educated, intelligent people" are being swayed by a simplistic catch phrase of "change".
You're the one who used the term "stupid people" and made it about intelligence, not me.
I notice you didn't respond to the facts about McCain being wrong for this country on the two issues that polls show over and over are the most important to them.
Voting for McCain is voting for another four years of Bush's failed policies. On top of that, McCain has flip-flopped on all of the major issues, as can be seen all over YouTube (search "McCain flip flop") and in my blog linked in my profile.
You didn't address McCain's plan to continue Bush's failed foreign policy, nor his ineptitude at dealing with the economy (which he himself admitted (and then said "I don't know where you got that" when someone quoted it back to him, amazingly)), nor his rampant flip-flopping on a myriad of issues, showing his willingness to say whatever he thinks everyone wants to hear.
If McCain, a man who was tortured, is willing to flip-flop on TORTURE, what hope is there he'll address others' issues?
Obama, for TWENTY YEARS, stayed a "follower" of Rev. Wrights (cash machine) church... He stated first, "I cannot disown Rev. Wright, as much as I cannot disown a "crazy uncle". Next statement, "I do not support all his views". Lastly, "This is NOT the man I met twenty years ago".
His wife has never been asked to do the same as "B"... why not? She is the October issue.
I already told you ... I am holding my nose while voting for McCain. I would need to hold my #@$% if voting for Obama.
About Bush's failed foreign policy... Liberated 60 million people (whether B.S. or not, still true result)... Libya gave up all weapons of mass destruction without a shot being fired (at Gaddafi). We are currently building the largest military base in the world in Iraq. It will have us "staged" in the heart of a troubled region on the borders of the enemy, and with water access as well. What you called "failed" I call a planned success. You are to "pie in the sky" to realize or accept it.
You would put a cost limit on the freedom of people other than yourself or Americans?... interesting.
You believe the UN was responsible for Libya giving up their weapons?... huge coincidence I guess.
The military bases in Germany, Japan, The Philippines, etc... What is your point?
The only base worth any money today, IS, the military base being built in Iraq... and congress knows about this construction and approves the monies being spent to build it... I wonder why? Pull out? NEVER
Frankly, there is no end to the oppressed countries around the world: Sudan, North Korea and Myanmar, to name just a few. All of these countries live in just as horrible conditions as the Iraqis ever did. I don't believe it is worth all the death toll to free just one oppressed country in such a blunt way. If there was a practical, efficient way to simply be world police and help other countries, I would agree with it. But there isn't. So I don't.
Next argument: just because he US was involved in negotiation doesn't mean it was the sole or even the main contributer. Cite your sources.
Next argument: We are great allies with Germany and Japan. The only thing having a base there does is suck up millions, if not billions, a year. They don't need to be defended; they won't attack us. Therefore, no reason to be there.
"Just because he US was involved in negotiation doesn't mean it was the sole or even the main contributor. Cite your sources".
No sources... Just common sense. The UN created how many USELESS resolutions in regards to Iraq? Who paid any attention to these resolutions besides us?
Libya could not care any less about the UN. The UN is the largest waste of money we can speak of. What do they accomplish? Libya saw what happened to a dictator that was "assumed" to have WMD.
Iraq's base is the most expensive of all; the utilities must run billions a year alone. The base IS necessary, but still a complete waste considering we could have avoided the need to build it at all. There was no valid reason ever to be in Iraq (refer to my earlier reply on the merits of the war if you haven't already read it)
Your UN created many resolutions which were ignored. This alone created a valid reason to be in Iraq. If the UN did not think there was a threat, why create the numerous resolutions? For how long were we to look around Saddam's "hand picked" areas or buildings? He was a fool in too many ways to list. His two sons got what they deserved as did Saddam... No love lost here.
You change the subject again, and make my point for me. Obviously, McCain can't be argued for on the merits, so you have to do guilt by association tactics (even though McCain's got at least triple the 'pastor trouble' anyway).
This is exactly the kind of thing Americans are tired of. We don't need a President who's so out of it that he can't even identify the different sects in Iraq, and thinks someone is making things up when they are QUOTING HIM DIRECTLY on economics.
First of all, I asked first, and you evaded. It's not evasion from me to ignore the questions you ask in an attempt to ignore my own. Also, my gender is completely irrelevant.
Again, no real response, so you resort to silly ad hominem.
Americans are tired of this kind of nonsense, where people focus on trivialities and personal attacks because they simply CAN'T WIN on the merits of their policies.
Let me know when McCain gets over 2.2% of a state's ENTIRE population at a rally of his, like Obama just did in Oregon with over 75,000.
People voting for McCain already know he is the nominee for the repubs... what a waste of time it would be to show up at a rally for him now... The important thing is to show up in November at the poll booth like I will and 50% of Hillary supporters will (for McCain).
Comment back after the election and save us both useless remarks.
And that explains the lack of a rally anywhere approaching that BEFORE winning the nomination, how? :)
Also, significant numbers of people are still voting for Huckabee, Romney, and Paul even though McCain's the presumptive nominee. Now, why bother doing that? Sounds like a protest vote if you ask me.
Don't count on that 28% (lol, 50%, what a lie) still feeling that way once the Democratic focus shifts to McCain. Only 27% of Americans are registered Republicans. Most don't want Bush 3.
I cannot make it any more clearer to you... I am not crazy about McCain either... I would love a "protest" vote against him, but most americans are not CRAZY enough to vote for Obama...
(the 52% of Hillary voters was in Oklahoma... Not a "lie", a mis-quote). You libs love to call everything a "lie"... Except Bill Clinton's testimony.
Over 50% of ALL democrats say they do NOT share Obamas values... That is not a lie. What does that say?
Let's talk again after the general election is over.
Talk about a lie Clarus... 27% Americans are registered republicans...
Nationwide it is pretty even with an estimated 41% democrat and 39% republican 20% are independent. It is actually the independents that decide the winners in most elections. I registered, as many, as an independent when I became sick with the "spineless" republicans. Most independents still vote mostly republican... "the old lesser of two evils".
Aretha Franklin will soon be rephrasing her song to "Change, Change, Change,... Change, your fools".
Do you really think Obama will be able to get troops out of Iraq? If so, I hope you handle disappointment well. Democrats have been promising you things that they have never delivered on forever... The difference is, you libs will vote for them over and over anyway... as long as they are not republicans... Conservatives will stay home if their views are not supported... which shows integrity.
LOL funny reading all these comments by the Obumbles drones. wonder how they like all that "hope and change" now? LOL pathetic.

LOL!!!
CBERASTUS 3 years ago

Just a very STRONG opinion!
shortee4204real 3 years ago
Well if you remember the underdog was Obama and then he came back so the same thing could happen with McCain. They both need to work out a time to do it mutually! They are both running so I mean come on! Work it out! Yeah and I still do not really care to be around my folks and I know people who are 35 that still do not like to be around their folks! I don't know how to change that. Good luck.

Ya know what blackwater, Obama got it. Whoever gets voted president in Nov. will spend the first year or even two years trying to fix the screw ups W. made, unless it's McCain who is voted in, cause he'll just keep the same things W has.

And Jesus would never be on the democratic ticket so I don't think that's an issue :) especially considering the Bible explicitly states that being gay is wrong as politically incorrect as that sounds.
littlepic 3 years ago

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
littlepic 3 years ago
These three are from the Book of Leviticus which outlines the Jewish law. Absolutely nobody follows these laws anymore because they forbid eating pork, seafood, etc. And the other sources you quote are St. Paul's letters. St. Paul was opposed to fucking in general. He wanted everyone to remain celibate and preach the word of God. You're welcome to go ahead and do that. Also, even if homosexuality is wrong, which it isn't, separation of Church and State means queers should be granted equal rights
jpthepartyboy 3 years ago
k well look at romans and corinthians...those are all in the new testament :) marriage is something sacred between a man and a woman-all people DO have that right if they choose to take it
littlepic 3 years ago
The Bible also says if a man rapes a woman, he must marry her for life and pay her family 50 shekels of silver.
The Bible also says that a man may not be punished for beating his slave to death if the slave manages to love overnight.
The Bible also says it's an abomination to wear different materials and eat shellfish.
The writers didn't know to wash after wiping. They believed that Noah's Ark is a true story. Talk about credulous.

Right now Iraq is more stable than its been than this conflict started, and you liberals want to go jack up our gas costs.

bush is right on this issue (maybe not for saying it there).nothing obama can say or do will stop iran and other Islamic extremest from wanting to attack isreal and and their allys. he will only give them 4-8 years of status quo, and that's what they want. also if obama wants to use the premise that mcain is like bush, then that's a clear invitation for bush to enter the campaign and attack back. frankly maybe bush should stuck up for his positions years ago and not waited till election year.
xtracker3 3 years ago
George Bush says he hates Iran, but viewing the situation from the outside in, I would say they are the best of friends. George Bush helps Iran's agenda in every way. He is even using his propaganda technique's to spread the rhetoric of Amadenajad.
If you hear over 100 times per day "Stinking Corpse" linked to the name Israel, eventually every time you hear the name Israel, you will automatically think of a "Stinking Corpse"!
George Bush and Amadenajad based on the facts are on the same side!
LandOfTheBrave01 3 years ago
Question

It's funny to hear people like btownhotties regurgitate republican political rhetoric as if it were true. People are not listening to Obama at all. Negotiate with IRAN, not Hamas or etc. IRAN is a country that play a huge part in the future of Iraq. The negotiation on the table is stop nuclear ambitions and support for terror groups like Hamas and we will lift sanctions.
mrfranchize02 3 years ago
"The negotiation on the table is stop nuclear ambitions and support for terror groups like Hamas and we will lift sanctions." That's the deal they already have been offered. Do you simply think they'll take the deal if Obama says it to Ahmadinejad directly?
VRWCnetwork 3 years ago
VRWCnetwork - What we have done is turned our backs on them and refuse to talk to them like they really care. This gave them plenty of breathing room to expand their nuclear programs while funding militia in Iraq. Tough talk and sanctions are very counterproductive with Iran. Diplomacy with these bastards is our last hope before the inevitable nuke war.

Hey hotshot, Bush tried to hide it by not mentioning Obama by name, but soon after McCain, who is (amazingly) even stupider than Bush, made the same exact comment, except he DID use Obama's name! ClarusVisum 3 years ago
ClarusVisum 3 years ago
Wow... you caught me making a typing mistake... you must be a genius.
0Blackwater 3 years ago
So you're a Hillary supporter, and even though she said it would be a terrible mistake (Google the phrase "Hillary Clinton on Wednesday reiterated her vow" to see it) to vote for McCain over Obama, you're going to do it anyway?
Do you want women to lose the right to choose? 'Cause that's just one of many backwards things McCain's Supreme Court will do.
My guess is you're either not aware of how much worse McCain would be than Obama, or that you're lying about being a Hillary supporter.

The American people are not nearly as stupid as you wish they were.
ClarusVisum 3 years ago
Oh yes they are... your party depends on the stupid people. If not for them, your ideology would not persist.
0Blackwater 3 years ago
You do know that Obama gets the most votes among the most intelligent and most highly- educated voters, right?
Kind of sinks the "stupid people" concept.
What would be stupid is voting for McCain, who's against the country on its second-most-important issue, Iraq (most people want us out, he wants us to stay), and he admits he knows little about the economy, which is the #1 issue among American voters.
He wants to run for Bush's third term. Frankly, anything's better than that.
ClarusVisum 3 years ago
Being intelligent or having the highest education does not guarantee that you will have any common sense. You seem intelligent, but are responding with stupid, and "pie in the sky" conclusions.
I have realized that liberals approach everything with this "pie in the sky" attitude instead of a reasoned and responsible angle and choice. Your "cult" of "highly educated, intelligent people" are being swayed by a simplistic catch phrase of "change".
0Blackwater 3 years ago
You're the one who used the term "stupid people" and made it about intelligence, not me.
I notice you didn't respond to the facts about McCain being wrong for this country on the two issues that polls show over and over are the most important to them.
Voting for McCain is voting for another four years of Bush's failed policies. On top of that, McCain has flip-flopped on all of the major issues, as can be seen all over YouTube (search "McCain flip flop") and in my blog linked in my profile.
ClarusVisum 3 years ago

You didn't address McCain's plan to continue Bush's failed foreign policy, nor his ineptitude at dealing with the economy (which he himself admitted (and then said "I don't know where you got that" when someone quoted it back to him, amazingly)), nor his rampant flip-flopping on a myriad of issues, showing his willingness to say whatever he thinks everyone wants to hear.
If McCain, a man who was tortured, is willing to flip-flop on TORTURE, what hope is there he'll address others' issues?
ClarusVisum 3 years ago
Obama, for TWENTY YEARS, stayed a "follower" of Rev. Wrights (cash machine) church... He stated first, "I cannot disown Rev. Wright, as much as I cannot disown a "crazy uncle". Next statement, "I do not support all his views". Lastly, "This is NOT the man I met twenty years ago".
His wife has never been asked to do the same as "B"... why not? She is the October issue.
I already told you ... I am holding my nose while voting for McCain. I would need to hold my #@$% if voting for Obama.
0Blackwater 3 years ago
About Bush's failed foreign policy... Liberated 60 million people (whether B.S. or not, still true result)... Libya gave up all weapons of mass destruction without a shot being fired (at Gaddafi). We are currently building the largest military base in the world in Iraq. It will have us "staged" in the heart of a troubled region on the borders of the enemy, and with water access as well. What you called "failed" I call a planned success. You are to "pie in the sky" to realize or accept it.
0Blackwater 3 years ago
On the liberation...Iraq may be somewhat more stable, but certainly not at fair cost to us
On Libya....The UN was much more involved than the US
On the military base...when since has building a military base not on your own territory been a GOOD THING?
yargdpirate 3 years ago
You would put a cost limit on the freedom of people other than yourself or Americans?... interesting.
You believe the UN was responsible for Libya giving up their weapons?... huge coincidence I guess.
The military bases in Germany, Japan, The Philippines, etc... What is your point?
The only base worth any money today, IS, the military base being built in Iraq... and congress knows about this construction and approves the monies being spent to build it... I wonder why? Pull out? NEVER
0Blackwater 3 years ago
Frankly, there is no end to the oppressed countries around the world: Sudan, North Korea and Myanmar, to name just a few. All of these countries live in just as horrible conditions as the Iraqis ever did. I don't believe it is worth all the death toll to free just one oppressed country in such a blunt way. If there was a practical, efficient way to simply be world police and help other countries, I would agree with it. But there isn't. So I don't.
yargdpirate 3 years ago
"I don't believe it is worth all the death toll to free JUST ONE "oppressed" country in such a blunt way"".
I bet some of the Iraqi people (especially those with small children) would argue with you on this point. They may believe differently, as I do.
Since when is anything with government "efficient" or "practical"?.
0Blackwater 3 years ago
(continued)
Next argument: just because he US was involved in negotiation doesn't mean it was the sole or even the main contributer. Cite your sources.
Next argument: We are great allies with Germany and Japan. The only thing having a base there does is suck up millions, if not billions, a year. They don't need to be defended; they won't attack us. Therefore, no reason to be there.
yargdpirate 3 years ago
"Just because he US was involved in negotiation doesn't mean it was the sole or even the main contributor. Cite your sources".
No sources... Just common sense. The UN created how many USELESS resolutions in regards to Iraq? Who paid any attention to these resolutions besides us?
Libya could not care any less about the UN. The UN is the largest waste of money we can speak of. What do they accomplish? Libya saw what happened to a dictator that was "assumed" to have WMD.
0Blackwater 3 years ago
Iraq's base is the most expensive of all; the utilities must run billions a year alone. The base IS necessary, but still a complete waste considering we could have avoided the need to build it at all. There was no valid reason ever to be in Iraq (refer to my earlier reply on the merits of the war if you haven't already read it)
yargdpirate 3 years ago
"The base IS necessary"
Being necessary IS a valid reason.
"There was no valid reason ever to be in Iraq"
Your UN created many resolutions which were ignored. This alone created a valid reason to be in Iraq. If the UN did not think there was a threat, why create the numerous resolutions? For how long were we to look around Saddam's "hand picked" areas or buildings? He was a fool in too many ways to list. His two sons got what they deserved as did Saddam... No love lost here.
0Blackwater 3 years ago
You change the subject again, and make my point for me. Obviously, McCain can't be argued for on the merits, so you have to do guilt by association tactics (even though McCain's got at least triple the 'pastor trouble' anyway).
This is exactly the kind of thing Americans are tired of. We don't need a President who's so out of it that he can't even identify the different sects in Iraq, and thinks someone is making things up when they are QUOTING HIM DIRECTLY on economics.
ClarusVisum 3 years ago
I have told you many, many times, I am not happy about McCain either... but for hugely different reasons.

You never answered my question about your gender... why?
You never answer any direct question either. Can you tell me that Obama answers all questions posed to him, "sweetie"?
0Blackwater 3 years ago

ClarusVisum 3 years ago

Nevermind... you have gone on with worthless "pie in the sky" meaningless statements to me long enough.
Thanks for "Making my point"... "sweetie".
0Blackwater 3 years ago
Again, no real response, so you resort to silly ad hominem.
Americans are tired of this kind of nonsense, where people focus on trivialities and personal attacks because they simply CAN'T WIN on the merits of their policies.
Let me know when McCain gets over 2.2% of a state's ENTIRE population at a rally of his, like Obama just did in Oregon with over 75,000.
ClarusVisum 3 years ago
75,000 libs in Oregon!! I can't believe it!
People voting for McCain already know he is the nominee for the repubs... what a waste of time it would be to show up at a rally for him now... The important thing is to show up in November at the poll booth like I will and 50% of Hillary supporters will (for McCain).
Comment back after the election and save us both useless remarks.
0Blackwater 3 years ago

Let me ask you once again... Are you a man or a woman? I am interested in knowing.

Are you really claiming that libs do not take their comments to the "personal" level?
That is the best example I have seen of "The pot calling the kettle black"...
Oh! I apologize for using the term "black". I know we cannot use, speak, mention, or think of anything associated with Obama!!

Obama tosses down the gauntlet:
Debate ME! Not the "straw man"
"...any time, anywhere."
Give 'em hell, Barry!
