actually ranma 1/2 and inuyasha were both made by a japanese woman named Rumiko Takahashi. she created the manga for both series, then it eventually became an anime. so thank Rumiko Takahashi for this.

she is just a manga artist, not an anime designer. she makes the manga, then using her story, some company that make the anime. and he never did get cured in the manga. he almost did but happosai drank it.
