This is my favorite scene of all. Second is Mary and Matthew dancing and then they kiss. I wondered if that was really both of them singing. What beautiful voices they have!

I love how Mary only says 'thank god' once everyone else acknowlegdes Matthews return. She clearly thought she was dreaming when he first walked in - only once Robert sees him as well can she believe he is safe and at Downton once more <3

I love the part when Mary runs to Matthew and leaps into his arms...well that’s what should have happened! I have to admit that I was grinning like a fool when Matthew & William walked in. Great moment!

Michelle Dockery's voice is beautiful; I'm not surprised that she would go into music if she didn't go into acting. And Dan Stevens has a great voice too for that matter. They should make a Downton Abbey musical special (saying that half jokingly and half earnestly).

Anyway. Mary and Matthew give me all the feelings.

Love how Branson looks at Sybil and William looks at Daisy - and how Matthew/Mary keep missing each others eye :') But how had they not realised their love for each other - surely Mary's "Oh thank God!" was enough evidence. Beautiful M&M moment <3
