@MetalHybrid there is catholic metal there is a friar that has formed a death metal band i think its called fratello metallo there in italy and they rock..but i like rob rock better.

So when you say, you like a lot of power metal, but because you're also Christian (as am I) that you also listen to Christian metal. It shouldn't matter. That's what I'm saying. The sad this is that back in the mid '90s when the Florida Death Metal scene exploded, I bought several Deicide cassettes, but quickly got tired of the musc. Just not enough variety in some of that extreme death metal. Same thing goes with Cannibal Corpse too. Out of all those bands, Obituary was about the only one I could tolerate. Only because it was somewhat melodic. And of course Schuldiner's Death

Religion has nothing to do with race. This analogy is rather stupid. Religion has to do with values and a lifestyle. When you refer to a Christian band, their thematics usually revolve around Jesus, God and having the Faith. That's the point of a Christian band. When you are black, you can sing about whatever you want without interfering with your race. Race is not an ideology. It's not a state of mind.
I love it, the song sounds like something you would here in a sonic the headgehog theme song, lol, but still totally awesome. They sorta sound like the confession to me...

Christian is one who reads the Bible and follow Jesus, not dependent on religion. Religion separates the church of Christ.

Yeah, Morbid Angel wasn't bad, but I hear that their newer albums got kind of stale.
Never heard of Mortification. Athiest, I've heard a little bit of their stuff through 30 second samples. Not bad, I guess.
Quite frankly Death Metal is probably my least favorite genre. There are a few melodeath bands that I dig. CoB is cool. Amon Amarth is not bad either.
