I am so grafeful for these videos of Andrea. I first met her back in1978 in Philadelphia and had a chance to hang out with her for while. I still have the pic of the two of us and her nice note to me.

The problem with Broadway actors who come to Hollywood is that they stop singing in their TV/Movie roles(Patti Lupone, Marin Mazzie, Christine Baranski, Mandy Patinkin, the list goes on).

It seems like a waste when these people aren't allowed to sing on tv or in movies.

I think it's a CRIME that she isn't mentioned as one of the top female singers of all time. Her voice is truly unique and special. And she just has such a cool stage presence. I think the problem is she never went "Hollywood". She probably could have if she wanted to but it seems like she stuck to the her roots in New York.

I'm dying for her to be cast in another Broadway role. I think Belle in Beauty & The Beast was her last one.
