Like you Tampa i had my last remaining sibling (oldest brother) fight to have his mesh removed because the DR who installed it lied to my brothers INS cause he was told to stop preforming mesh surgery's cause he keeps doing them wrong. My brother had to actually find the DR who originally invented the mesh to prove it was installed wrong & to get INS CO's to remove after years of fighting them. The dr who invtd it lived in MIA, south of us in TPA nice to see him pain free finely
dr petersen is awesome. having spent time with hal both before and after his mesh removal, i am very aware of how much he has benefited from the services of dr petersen. the pain & suffering caused by these mesh devices is unacceptable and i pray that the FDA steps up and does the right thing by BANNING the use of this product. it is horrific to see someone suffering because of something that is UNNECESSARY. hernias can be repaired by other means. if a dr tells you otherwise, FIND A NEW DOCTOR!
I had an inguinal hernia 4 months ago. Minimal intrusion. I did have successful surgery with a mesh. So far have had mild pain where the mesh may have been attached or sewn. But nothing to prevent my walking or even running.
I pay attention to how it feels when lifting ot getting up.

Who is the doc? My c-section split open the day I had it. I walked around for 17 months & saw no less than 13 docs. Finally found 1 that believed me. Was previously accused of post partum, drug seeking,told I was fat (I'm 5'5, 130). 1 doc even told me I was just constipated for a year+! I had repairative surgery, but he meshed a large portion of my abdomen. I have been in serious pain for 4 years. Haven't worked. Most days can hardly walk,can't lift, sit for long, pull open a door.
I 've been fully disabled for many years and currently live on $900 a month (after Medicare is deducted). Medicare won't TOUCH oral surgery. My doctors (both of them) tell me that if I don't get several fully decayed teeth extracted I could die from it. I do note that they frequently cause deadly infections of my body such as cellulitis. I also have lymphedema in both legs to where I've completely lost the sense of touch there. How can I get these teeth extracted before it's too late?
@cliffwalkinfool Dude, you need to get your ass to a clinic in your area immediately and get all the information you can on free dental surgery. Tooth extraction is on average $105 per tooth, so it's one of the cheapest procedures out there. I knew a person who died from a dental issue like this. Get out there, bang the phones, ask around, and get all the information you can from whoever you can on getting this done in your area. It's not something to procrastinate about. Good luck.
hi there, i'm have the same pain too ,i had the hernia surgery done on 09/20/2011 on the right side of my groin, after seeing many doctors and last doctor say to me i have a big HERNIA and two weeks later i had surgery,i'm very sore in my groin, it's been 3 weeks now and,still haveing this burning ripping pain in my right groin all the time my in my scrotum my right (testicle) it feel like something is pulling on my spermatic cords it very painful geting in and out of bed and walking any help
