unfortunately i can say i can understand the lyrics.this is a great tune.chemical bros def did it justice.just heard this about 15 mins ago on the radio in the car as i waited in the car as opposed to going in the store.if the lyrics were more 'cryptic' id respect spiritualized more.just not into promo of poor behavior.even if its a decade and a half behind me.yes i was a kid at the time i partied.oh well,good damn song.love this remix.not the original.

@thedigitalcollective I was disappointed when I figured out what the first part was about, too. But in the context of the rest of the album ("Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space"), you'll find that Jason seems to consider drugs to be a hollow way of coping with unrequited love. There's a bit in the song "Come Together" where he sings "Now Little J's a fucked up boy who dulled the pain but killed the joy." "J" is part of his pseudonym, J Spaceman.

@thedigitalcollective And in the case of "I Think I'm in Love", I think the second part of the song is meant to juxtipose the optimistic, drug-clouded lines to the sober pessimistic ones, which represent reality. It's one of those "love is a drug" analogies.
