@Darthpsi it's called dubblebass, they use both feet on the big bass drum ;) and the rest is mostly "basic" off-beat drumming... it's the fills that impresses me :P

@10nkris doublebass is mostly played with only 1 foot, there's some special gear for double bass so you can use the high-hat at the same time with the other foot.

You lack tremedous exposure. I urge you to open up to the world out side of what your enviroment offers. The style of music is called Progressive or Power Metal. Both terms are used interchangeably but mean two distinct types of music. Fast, Melodic, and complex.

Maiden to Stratovarius is like comparing a broom to a vacuum cleaner. (Its a far streach, I know. but hopefully he will get the point)

Kamelot, Epica, Sonata Artica, Manowar, HammerFall,... all belong to the same genre.

Actually.... you just posted the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I've been following Manowar since the early 80's... they are definitely Power Metal. If you'd prefer to call them True Metal... fine, but even being mediocre musicians, they definitely fit into the Power Metal genre. Even Stratovarius back in '89 didn't even sound like Power Metal.... it's called evolution of genre you dolt.

@ArntorFTL Yeah. I think DragonForce copied it x.X. Not that I hate DragonForce, but until their 4th album they were unoriginal for the most part. With strato there's something that makes me want to listen to them again and again and never get bored of their songs, especially the '90s stuff, which Dragonforce lacks.
