I found another glitch in the game today: If you kill a character using scorpions spear, you cannot do a fatality until you hit the opponent once. Normally hitting the opponent would also end the fatality state, but you're granted one hit since the game thinks they're in the dazed state from the spear.

This happens to me all the time with Sub-Zero. When his clone doesn't work it leaves you open to attack. If it were a limiter it would have "X" number to times within a period of time, but it doesn't. Before I saw this, it would happen randomly. Sometime after 10 or sometimes the first or second one. This is needs to be fixed.

P.S Everyone else have horribly spamable moves, the clone is a tactical one!

@tutekki at first it seemed random to me, but I realized it happened most often after taking Sub's Xray, and noticed it was limited freeze specific properties and that 9 times out of 10 the Xray happens after a freeze. Then I realized that the moves were only being disabled at times the read out wasn't being shown. I thought about a bunch of things from previous games and decided to test something that the CPU could do in UMK3, and it worked so I applied it to other moves and characters.

@gilbagz neutral would be when you character isn't doing anything just in their stance for example. 50/50 would be when both players have the option to attack, move or block after a combo or knock down. The situations that cause this glitch are not true 50/50s but it's the easiest way to describe what is going on.

Well hopefully they either fix this issue or they want to prevent Sub-zero from spamming the ice clone move.

Is it me or did they specifically Sub-Zero as a "Zoning" character?

Lordspinal, the reason the clone doesn't work up close is because it is a guaranteed freeze. It is supposed to be like that (refer to umk3). Otherwise the move could be spammed and make the fights 1 sided.

to many glitches aka broken stuff I hope that they can fix it

and when playing against scorp or johhny and jou do tthe ice clone right in front off them when blocking when under pressure and you would like to do the ice clone the clone wil not appear and you continue to get hit cause of a move not working right but I prefer the icycounter from mkvsdc

i dont think thats a glitch i think it just keeps u from spamming the special moves

The only time you cannot do the clone based on the game's rules is when it's broken before the 4 second timer has elapsed that the clone stays on the screen. If you dash block into the clone as it comes out, it'll break it and Sub cannot do the clone. In this situation, he's in trouble. The reason why this is a glitch is because P2 is controlling what P1 can do by forcing the secondary limitation to stay active permanently. Shouldn't be possible.
