Thumper, The VERY BEST oysters come from Cockroach Bay on the S.E. side of Tampa Bay. They are about 3 - 5 inches long , but the flavor is out-of-this-world. ! ! ! ! I like crackers, but only with hot sauce on it too... AND the only way to eat them raw is to slurp them out of the shell... Gets your elbows wet........ hahhahahhaaahahaha.
