  • i should also mention i also have the attachment kit to them as well just one but hey it works and i am also working on getting the mini version of the electrik broom called the broommette

  • i have 6 of these with powernozzle and they r great but one of them i am in the midst of rebuilding the motor in it it is my green one with electrik brush but i now have the powerteam i have 4 of them 3 with the same color bag and one with a different colored bag in great shape

  • @kidwithcoolroom1 I bought one from a guy once, and he said "You really should plug it in first, it is VERY LOUD"

  • In your opinion, do you think one of these is worth $20 for collection and occasional use purposes? I'd be buying it from a guy that has a bunch of vintage vacuums. so if it's not worth it, I'd probably put that $20 towards another one of his vacs.

  • hey this may seem like a weird question but what type of carpet do you have?

  • i loved these electrikbrooms, either made by regina, sears or iona, with or without power nozzle i think there were cool to use

  • I agree-especially the older ones with the toggle switch. My mom had one of those when I was a kid....it was tolerable until my dad replaced it with another motor which caused it to be much louder....that experience made me scared of vacuums when I was a kid.

  • oh lol how many decibles do u think they are

  • why?

  • @animebsd Well, seeing that they're basically just a motor on a stick, I imagine they are loud for largely the same reason Harley Davidsons are loud :-D

  • i have the same one that needs a belt. I heard this particular one with the electrikbrush is rare

  • The Electrikbrush models werent always available and when they were they were the most expensive of all Electrikbrooms. I found that a Dirt Devil style 2 belt works perfect for the replacement belt. Just if your interested in fixing yours.

  • Thanks, because I would like to use it for the kitchen. Did it have tools available?

  • Yes, some of the later models had an attachment kit available. There was a place in the rear of the power head neck where you plugged in the hose. Not a totally popular feature.

  • Finally fixed mine, lol. The power nozzle motor was shot so I replaced that and it works very nicely now. Grooms the carpet quite well.
