A couple of years ago, a Hindi version appeared in the movie "Lage Raho Munna Bhai". An inspired plagarism with some beautiful percussion. Listen to how the drums have been discarded in favour of soft violin pizzicato! Also the husky emotional voice of the singer. Search for "pal pal har pal" song to listen to this beautiful adaptation.

Cliff Richard was and still is second to nobody. I've been a fan since the 50's and still am. Cliff; like most kids in the UK and all over the world admired Elvis, and of course imitated him. However he developed his own style and has remained a rock and roll idol to this day.

Bobby Vee was an excellent singer and his version of this song is very good.  Cliff's version is better. I don't know why Cliff wasn't popular in the U.S. His 1950s and 1960s songs were better than most American songs of that time.

Its a saga of CHori with Indian Musicians. FRom Laxmi Pyare to Annu Malik and From RD Burman to Bhappi Da all liberally picked tunes from elvis, michael, frank sinatra without giving any credit to original. So next time when u listen any good song it might be possible that its a chori... Don't let you heart break for these small things. there are larger ones in wolrd for that. any way hermoine is my favorite charecter in HP.

This is such a lovely song.

There is a Hindi movie, with this song in one of their scenes, but obviously the language was changed to hindi and it was an indian lady singing the hindi version.

That tiel for that song is Pal pal Har Pal, Munna bhai 2. Iti s in youtube.

I prefer Cliff's version too much, to bother about the other one. I only know of the hindi version because I was watching the show with my Hindi mum and it came on, just in hindi though.

the 1959-1963 period due to scandals of Jerry Lee Lewis and the death of Buddy Holly and Eddie Cochran appeared that way. But I think that period had better variety like jazz, blues, R&B, classical, and so on. Of course, the Beatles came and rock n'roll stayed.
