  • This song/performance and the night that followed at Shangri-La was a life changing experience for me. I have accomplished things I never thought possible with this new amazing outlook on life. Thank you Trevor for everything you do and keep making music no matter the struggles you may face in life.

  • i wish i could dislike those 7 dislikes...

  • feminine dude, lol. np with that! not saying there is.

  • Fliker of unity in diversity in your brain is appearing as your thoughts in this video. On your vision of two eyes. Can we discover flicker of unity in my head & heads of billions of people in clusters around the world. Not in this land (my brain) is my land and that land (Your brain) is your land. "Earth is but one country and mankind its citizens." Do u think u can kindly add below flicker of unity on youtube here? Sound of Silence by Paul Simon with the thought of peace & unity.wmv

  • very cool song yo. but i have a question? Does he smoke grass?

  • I have seen Trevor live 3 times... every time its the best ever! He is so in love with what he does that it shows in his concerts! His passion and his love just puts the crowd in the best mood! And I got to hang out with him after one of the concerts and the guy is just a down to earth chill dude!! My all time favorite musician with his sidekick Chris Steele!

  • "might not have the same spiritual beliefs, but we both Love...we both love the Divine ya know?" Best quote ever

  • No music has ever set off such emotions through me. Trevor Hall is such a beautiful soul. His music opens my eyes and my heart. I don't see how anyone could ever have anything negative to say about him. Namaste.

  • Great song!....To think I saw again today on TV poeple throwing stones in the name of their religion.

Unity is a dream like Imagine!...everybody wants it....but nobody knows how to reach it.

  • hi trevor. i love your music. please check out my cover of your song "lime tree" i'd be eternally grateful.

  • "Whatever path you follow, push on to tomorrow. Love all, serve all, create no sorrow".

    Amazing!!!

  • this song is so overwhelming! like it makes me so happy i want to cry...

  • <3 everytime

  • Great!!!

  • Beautiful

  • two amazing artist, 1 amazing song. That's all I need

  • Just listened to this for the first time and it brought tears to my eyes. YES,YES,YES !!!

This is the music the world needs to hear to help it heal and bring peace to its inhabitants.

  • just unity

  • I like his voice but it kinda sounds like a 13 year old going through puberty at the same time? (trevor i mean)

  • @chelseaa321 yeah buts its his style

and to be honest i love it, its awesome

  • I have been listening for a long time....I need to FAVORITE his music now. This is BEAUTIFUL! SERIOUS TALENT.

  • This is amazing! Makes my heart leap everytime I hear this song. Great background info!!

  • Beautifully done! love the background info on it. :]

  • You guys know that feeling when you discover a new song, and you know its going to be "that" song for you for a little bit. I think i found the song. :0

  • Great song... love it

  • too bad matis wasnt at harvest!!!!!

  • you should hear his song lullaby...will make you like a cry like a baby....trevor rocks....

  • Evolved unity conciousness involves you and me and they and we in Unity...

  • Amen.

  • love this song! Trevor Hall, you are awesome!

  • This song is catchy but so incredibly false. All views are not valid. Not everyone or every religion can be right at the same time. It is impossible. Love is not G-D, D-D is Love. There is but one G-D.

  • @mhendricks777 you're an idiot. he's not saying everyone's right he's saying there are many roads. ur right every religion can't be right, because the idea of religion itself is flawed. Its Just Unity. Quit being heretical. Truth is Love

  • its a shame that people arent considerd celebrities ... cus they are the real inpiration. the message of this song is so meanigful & makes smile since tells you just to be peacful & not judge people for their religoin.

  • light is ok,but do you know the new sony things.they suck!

  • snnnffff°°°° matisyahu - you have to know that i like his music very much - but hes not real anymore, now he is on sony bmg records and his style changed completely.... many artists where good in the beginning, but than.....

  • @moedlingconnection What's wrong with the album "Light"??? I think it's some of his best work yet!

  • why isnt this a megahit instead of that justin bieber and gaga CRAP?

  • @scottishchief26 Trevor is actually Hindu.

  • I love Trevor Hall exactly because he's so over and beyond any kind of borders. does it really matter which God he believes in? Trevor makes beautiful and meaningful music that helps me personally to become a better person, a better human being. And that's all that really matters. There's so much more to life and to the world than we see in our everyday lives. And Trevor shows it to us all. ''So many rivers but they all reach the sea'', and this sea.. well, it's great, isn't it.

  • @DelovejaKundze this is an amazing song..but more importantly its an awesome, well established comment simply because of one line..."trevor makes beautiful and meaningful music that HELPS ME PERSONALLY TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON, A BETTER HUMAN BEING."

becoming a better person is my ultimate goal and when there's an opportunity at getting closer to that then im taking it

  • @DelovejaKundze I completely agree with everything you said, every one of his songs gives something deeper than what most music today is.

  • ONE LOVE!!

  • too bad he's not christian.....

  • @scottishchief26 what's change ?

  • @baldes what do you mean?

  • @scottishchief26

What difference make the religion he believe ?

  • @baldes well, for other religions, there's different "tolerance levels." im a christian, but im not a culture christian- im not willing to compromise what i know God has commanded me to. why would i listen to music that glorifies a different god when God already told me not to have a god before him? im not hating others for having a different religion, sometimes its dissapointing that ppl with amazing talent are using it for something that i dont agree with (im not saying its all about me, haha)

  • @scottishchief26 a different god huh? What Christian book are you reading? I could maybe see you arguing that they are not worshiping God correctly... but Christians generally worship the same God who made an everlasting covenant with Abraham. The God of the Jews.

  • @darkcanvas yes, Christians do worship that God. what is your point?

  • @scottishchief26 xtians don't worship the One G-d, they are idol worshipers.

  • @MegaHebrew xtians? G-d? idols? please explain...

  • @darkcanvas um, the Bible....and buddhists do not worship the same God as Abraham.....

  • @scottishchief26 Buddhists do not worship a God at all.

  • @BlixEternal they worship the same God i do and in the same context.

  • @GabeMurrayRules nice...

  • @BlixEternal I don't know. You are right to some degree, many Buddhists are not big on "worshiping" per say, but they acknowledge the divine in similar ways like praying, ritural. Buddhist sects, such as Tibetan Buddhism certainly have Deity-like figures. Buddhism is veiled by unique terminology and abstract ideas that make it hard for us to see the parallels. I think most of the confusion comes from the fact that Buddhists believe "God" is within everyone, and refer to "God" by it's nature.

  • @scottishchief26 Dude, Matisyahu, he's Jewish.

  • @scottishchief26 so what is he?

  • @danaeport buddhist, i think.....

  • Comment removed

  • is Trevor Jewish as well or Christian or is he not religious?

  • Comment removed

  • he's a buddhist

  • I'm pretty sure he's more into hinduism and Sufi wisdom.

  • he's hindu, but mostly he's just in touch with god.

  • Trevor is a devotee of Kali Ma - the Divine Mother.

technically that makes him Hindu - but his loves cannot be contained.

Like he said, he simply loves the Divine.

  • GOT THAT CD SIGNED=]

  • música perfeita. Matisyahu Brazil I love you ;D

  • Hello. We are HYLLUS a new Reggae/Rock band from Miami.

Check us out if you want to hear new music.

  • cool song

  • Beautiful to estatic!

  • two really talented artists,

    two really different religious backgrounds,

both way into their own religious/spiritual method,

and both singing together about god.

    That's pretty awesome.

props you guys. thanks for making it public.

  • my brother went to the back booth consert and ybor city concert and hey hung out with trevor just him trevor an chris witch is the drummers name i think so he know somewhat good

  • oh he hung out both imes after and before the show

  • i was at backbooth, ya him and the band are some of the nicest people ive ever met in my life. I was hanging out with all of them

  • I met Trevor at Lollapolooza in Chicago, he was just walking around with a friend, I'm like isn't that trevor hall??? and we go to talk to him, He seemed shocked that someone recognized him came to talk to him

  • i believe it doesn't matter what religion you believe in...

why must we talk about what happen after life, its about how we all are the same, we enter this world the same, we leave this world the same, so as long as we are here just accept one another, no matter the belief...we are the same and thats all the reason to love on another...just unity

  • very well stated. it doesnt matter at all what you believe in. religion has done a great job of dividing us from each other and the concept of unity is a long ways off, but i think that we are moving in the right direction when i hear pieces like this. my hope lies within people. im not religious but i do think we can all put our differences aside and live together. unity. one love

  • Even if religion never existed at all, we would still be divided by cultural differences. Why do Americans dislike the French? Because of their religion? No.

When all of Europe was united under one religion, they still fought wars amongst each other, for political reasons.

And remember, quite a few of the so called "religious wars" were really for something else entirely, namely the monetary or political advancement of the ruling class. Religion was just the excuse they fed to the grunts.

  • i never said religion was the only thing that divided people. that just so happens to be a theme in the song. i didnt think it relevant to go into everything that has played a role in the division of man kind. yes, cultural differences are just as prevalent as religious amongst us. if you want to go that route, economics and politics have too. but theyre totally irrelevant to this discussion so i dont see why you chose to try one upping me here

  • Politics and economics are absolutely relevant, because religion can't be separated from them, in the real world at least.

You said "religion has done a great job of dividing people." Great means better than most, meaning religion is more responsible for division than the other factors you mentioned.

But in the end, I'm being silly here. This debate is pointless, seeing as how the both of us could argue forever and never prove ourselves right. Sorry if my comment put you in a sour mood!

  • Comment removed

  • there both in my top 3 by far tevor is so under rated he

  • too much blackberry

  • He's reading the lyrics off of it

  • no, trevor hall isn't gay. (not that it should make a difference if he was.)

  • so what?

  • The whole point of the song is thy there is more than ome way to "heaven", all religons are relevant and the point is love. The fact that he doesn't want to reason anymore is saying that he doesn't want people to argue or fight over who is right but instead focus on the big picture loving on another and God!

  • matis' part is the absolute best

  • what does he mean by "i dont want a reason about g-d above:?
