Unlike bringing Kirk back, bringing back Data wouldn't be too much of a stretch of the imagination. Enough of his mind has been saved, and a body can always be made. He's only dead as long as the film makers choose to keep him that way.

In the openning, Lore being 'your demons' was good, but there was no flash forward to any of the 'the beaten(Picard asking for Q's help after introducing them to the Borg), the broken (Picard in medbay after his heart fused) and the damned(Locutus)' or Dr. Soong in Data's dreams for 'Leave you a phantom'.

Nemesis was on tv last night and, thought after all these years i'd be able to handle watching it but as soon as Data Transported Picard back I had to change the channel. It was like watching a totally new Trek film, i only watched it once in the cinema and the whole time i was watching i was just waiting with dread for the part Data dies (I read spoilers) that i had no idea what the film was about.

i far prefer the Kirk movies, they are far more uplifting Trek movies.

In the episode that we first meet Lore, Wesley points out that Data is younger than he is. And that was like season 3 so Wesley wasn't even a cadet yet. Based on that the oldest I could imagine Data being is 30. I think the age discrepancy comes from people who are counting from when he was assembled opposed to when he was first activated.

Unfortunately, no. I was hoping it would make it, because it would have been cool to see it up on the big screens. There was a data video that played during the con, but I think it was one that Creation Entertainment had put together. I was there, but I can't for the life of me remember the song that was used! I will check with some of the other folks I know that went to see if they remember, and I'll post it if/when I find out.
