its not a benzo zolpidem or ambien is not a benzo doctor of mind you realy are fucking dumb very stupid guy stop talking shit and thinking u no everything coz u dont have a clue
I took it just like my doctor told me to and woke up the next morning bruised and had cuts and scrapes on my knees. I found out I had gone outside (it was 20 degrees out) and dropped my cellphone and took off and left my shoes outside. I also tried to cook and got most of the food all over the stove top (I turned off the stove).
this video sucks, those are fkkin milky ways, you dont know shit about zolipdem, i took 3 of them the other night and i dont remember shit i did, it made me feel like shit the next day
lmao!!! I just fell on the floor and started laughing non stop for like 30 mins right after you said "this new thing where your popin an ambien" lmfao!! No but seriously I've taken ambien before and it made me hallucinate and I would get outa bed do all sorts of things and say things then the next day I wouldn't remember any of it. Also the next day I would throw up and it felt like a really bad hangover
your the best doc mate.. you make me laugh, your a very wise man. i hope you get your show on, i would defenlty watch, hahaha halicon fall outa bed and break your hip!!! hahahahaah so good
you are a legend, i joined youtube just so i could comment. i was wondering how long have you been practicing psychiatrist? i watch and rate all your vids. the clonazepam one helped alot... and i totatlly argee with you on xanax(alprazolam)they are nasty little bastards... and never should be prescribed.. well in high dose anyway.. some people are on 12mg a day.. ridiculous. if you are trying to stop, slowly lower your dose.. and get assistance from a psych like DOCTOR OF MIND,~N
Those are HORRIBLe! Gabapentin is really great for sleep and pain. Tram and gabapen is great mixed! I cannot believe family docs they are really dangerous!
mirtazapine sure did help me get nice and sleepy at night but it seriously put my RLS on OVERDRIVE. Kinda hard to sleep when you feel like you have something crawling around in your legs LOL! I had to start taking Requip with it, but Requip was REALLY terrible for me. I used to wake up after two hours like clockwork and vomit. I got horrible orthostasis with that too. Ambien (I took the CR version) worked SO well for me, no RLS exacerbation, and I didn't have a hungover feeling in the AM
mirtazapine has worked wonders with me, after ambien, ambien cr, rozerem, lunesta, mirtazapine has kept me sleeping like i did when i was young! and its inexpensive!
Also, Zolpidem is for short-term insomnia and should be discontinued after 7 days. I've seen some psychiatrists put people on it long-term and I'm just like whaaaat!
I was taking trazodone with seroquel and would wake up about an hour later having a panic attack. I also had reflux with trazodone and urinary problems. Changes in diet helped.
That crap should be banned. Too many people have been harmed by it. That particular drug company paid a psychiatrist to write a negative article about Trazadone to try and increase sales. In this article he wrote Trazadone was addictive. Then I got in huge arguments with several doctors and mental health professionals that believed it.
@Aspiecelia in the search for a sleep aid that actually works, and being naturally afraid of benzos, I was prescribed trazodone. After a month, the morning after a 50mg dose, I was so anxious that I needed to take 25mg just to quell the withdrawal anxiety. Isn't this a property of an addictive medication?
So is zolpidem safer or less safe than temazepam? What about the development of tolerance? If they're both functionally benzodiazepines, then why not just take temazepam instead?
One was below mentioned melatonin (which didn't do much effect on me) and the also the other one was aripiprazole, which was meant to be taken during the day. But I just took it once, had a pretty awful response to it and ignored the treatment (this one labeled me with chronic psychosis). He said that if these meds didn't work, I'd have to undergo ECT which still seems like a rather extreme measure to be taken on my case. So I've been back on zolpidem but it's not taking me anywhere, obviously.
Stuff like Prozac and the likes, I meant. I've had pretty different diagnosis 3 months ago, one shrink said I needed to undergo psychanalisis and prescripted me with triticum (don't know under which name it is commercialized in the US), but I had used that in the past for sleeping and it was pretty unpleasant. Now the doctor wanted me to take 1/3 of a pill throughout the day or whatever. I went to another shrink who diagnosed me with acute psychosis and put me on two other medications (...)
I've developed an addiction to zolpidem that's been escalating for over a year or so. I don't think I ever did more than 40mg on a day, so that's enough for me not consider myself as an "addict". These days I go to as far as 30mg per day (on the most anxious ones), but cutting it down to 20 now and hopefully to the normal 10 before bed shortly. I'd like to ask you what to would you recommend to be taken instead to treat the anxiety. I tried many other drugs during the years but none seem to work
I used to take Ambien, but it never made me tired. It would only increase the hypnagogic imagery I saw while trying to get to sleep. If I took Ambien and did not actively try to go to sleep I would stay awake and do ludicrous things. I never ate raw bacon or anything like that, but shit got weird. After this I switched to Seroquel which did the job but was addictive. I got up to 1200 mg per night I think. Now I just take melatonin and dyphenhydramine. It's working relatively well.

You briefly mentioned triazolam in this video--what do you think of it? My doc switched me from zolpidem 10mg to triazolam 0.125mg.
Also, any thoughts on trazadone versus mirtazapine?
