@luvsthose8230s you are so correct. There is nothing efficient about moldy clothes! how the hell can you wash a hugh load of clothes in a cup of water? LOL. I will say that the speed queen washers seem to have a correct amount of water in them but a whirlpool front loader... no thanks.
@2006arakawafan , The only reason they start molding is because people have no common sense and shut the door after the cycle is done, not letting the air dry out the machine. And stupid people don't read the instructions.
The reason why I mentioned it is b/c I've never seen an agitator with the "Dual Action" logo on it in a Whirlpool machine. I've only found them in the Kenmore machines (they are made by Whirlpool, though, so maybe it's a replacement agitator).
That is a Kenmore agitator... Not surprising though. their parts are interchangeable much of the time

Too low water level!

Top loaders clean much better? Have you ever used a front loader? They are far more thorough and gentle on clothes as well.

@jbooks888 yes, but i like top loaders hands down.

@2006arakawafan right on i really want to get my hands on an old belt driven whirlpool, like what my mother had when i was growing up.

A good way to tell if this machine was a Sears model is to look for an s in the model number. Otherwise it may be a repacement agitator

This could be a Whirlpool model that was exclusively sold at Sears. Some of them had the Sears Dual Action agitatiors.

Is that a Kenmore agitator in that machine?
vanni9283 1 year ago
@vanni9283 : i believe it is a whirlpool, but kenmores and whirlpools, tend to use similar parts in their machines.
