atonement is such a wonderful book and film. it makes me cry every time i see it. keira knightley is a really great actress but she hardly ever smiles at awards ceremonys of film festivals etc. she has a great smile, she should use it! she only poses!

i think all the acting was AWESOME.

but the movie itself started out cool...but turned out to be depressing and boring...but the ending was nice...though just a little spark.

Did she get to see the questions prior to this interview, or does she have a writer? She appears incredibly articulate in this interview. don't get me wrong, I think keira sounds more refined than most american actresses anyway, but she gets her point across about the movie in this interview perfectly. Perhaps it is due to the fact that it's the Venice Film Festival, that she chose her words carefully and it appears she's REALLY into the film and the book. GO KEIRA! ♥
