Where do you live dude ?? In Afghanistan Why would you need a gun for every day carry --- pardon my ignorance of your circumstances -- but it seems extreme -- or your country is much more dangerous than I even imagined But good choices I think ???I've heard it is a good weapon..
This is the problem with your people. An armed nation is a safe nation. Think of it this way. I guy walks into a store and pulls out a gun. If every good citizen was armed there would be ton of guns pointed back at that guy. The situation would be over before it starts. I hope one day you get your ass handed to you and then say "A knife/gun would be nice" So what country full of love are you from?
@SurvivalRevolution -- Listen --I hear where yout coming from and agree you all have your God given rights to kill each other. And to be certain situations arise when it is better to be safe than sorry -- and be armed to the teeth. But let me tell you I'm no spring chicken with many winters under my belt and somehow made it without a glock under my belt .I live in Canada --- we have bad guys --- just a few less than you --- I think most of my neighbors are peaceful people just earning a living
All your neighbors could be very nice. But what about all the things that can happen. You have to realize Canada too is a fragile country and take away power or food, or even gas for about a week and those very nice neighbors are not so nice anymore. Look I too don't have a gun for my edc. Believe it or not the only gun i have is a hunting rifle. And im not some guy cooped up in his house with all of that stuff. But the reason i get all defensive against this stuff, is that if i went out and...
And in those circumstances -It would be great.. but for regular life -- when were not living in movies where zombies come to life --- there is a very good chance some pissed of guy with more balls than brains will be in possession of a weapon -- get into an altercation and use his gun to win the arguement . I remember a case in your country when a kid got killed for just swiping another guys running shoes --- a stupid kids act but not worth the death penalty -- yes I know he wont do it again ??
@JCTheSniper15 We all know --- you have the God given right to arm yourself. Problem is the same as nations have --- where does it end.Are you protecting yourself from your criminal neighbors?? or is the percentage of criminals so high that you have no choice. If there are that many criminals --- ever thought that the problem may be your system of life is very ill ------ No wonder the world at large thinks Americans as a nation of bullies .The Police of the Earth .
That's not the issue. I carry weapons because I refuse to be anyone's victim. I'm not aggresive, most people will never even know that I carry. But God help the one who tries to victimize me or someone else when I'm nearby.
If you prefer to be an unarmed victim, that's perfectly fine. And if you're ever attacked, I hope someone with a spine is there to help you.
@millwrightman99 You don't have to live in A-stan to be robbed at gun point or car jacked or whatever. It happens everyday.I'm just proud proud to live where I can defend myself and my family w/o my government telling me I can't.
Well then my glock probably sucks! I can hit a soda can at 35 yards with a colt 1911 so my aim isn't the thing that sucks. It's probably just the gun.
Sweet another 1911 fan. I have a SA 1911 mc operator. I can hit an old abandoned gas range out in the woods at 100 yards (75% hit rate roughly). My dad was lucky he has an old gov. mk 4 (I think). You can tighten that up with just breath control and staging your trigger slowly. Whats your sight radius on your Glock (or Glock model)?
Sight radius is basically the length between the front and rear sight. The reason I ask is it is generally easier to hit with a pistol which have a long sight radius. Why they put the word radius in there is beyond me. Does your Glock have adjustable sights?
If you're used to the 1911 then that's probably why you're having accuracy issues with the Glock. The tirgger, grip angle, and sights are all very different. Glocks are extremely accurate, but they do take some getting used to.
My main problem with in the waistband holsters is that it is TOO concealed. 90% of the time if you ever should need your concealed firearm, you'll need it quick. I just wear a button up shirt untucked hanging over my piece, and in winter, a jacket.
My friend picked up a Kahr PM-9. It's nice. I couldn't spend that much $ so I ended up going with the cheaper Kel Tec PF-9. Later, I watched a video by nutnfancy where he compares the two. If you haven't already, maybe you should check it out.
Do you have a CCW or are you allowed to conceal carry in your state without one? I was thinking about getting a G19 myself. What defensive ammo do you recommend? Thanks.
Yep, its pretty awesome. I do believe Alaska is the same way, but I think they have one available for reciprocity reasons whereas Vermont has absolutely no permit.
How many centimetres is that kubaton on your keys if I may. I subbed

The last sentence says it all for me. I don't always carry, but if I'm not going to a bar or work, I do.

Glocks are sick but they're inaccurate as hell. Well, at least mine is.
punksnotdead543 2 years ago
if your carrying it for edc than you won't need outstanding accuracy
conarym9 2 years ago 3
I can get 3'' groups at 25 yards standing with my G22. What kind of inaccuracy are we talking about here?

I'm not that experienced in guns. Would you mind telling me whats a sight radius?

my24939 2 years ago
No, my sights are solid maybe that's why I'm struggling with accuracy, because my sights aren't adjustable. How many guns you got bro?
punksnotdead543 2 years ago
As of right now I have 7. 3 handguns and 4 long arms. 1 shotgun 3 rifles.
my24939 2 years ago
cool I got 7 to! 3 handguns 3 rifles and a berreta shotgun yeah guns are cool I love to go out to the range and practice my aim

I have a CCW. I don't believe there are any states that you can legally carry a gun without a permit.
I just use hollow points. Not specific to any brand.
coletrane811 3 years ago
Vermont has no permit, if its legal for you to own its legal for you to carry, open or concealed (I live in Vermont).
