Love your videos they help me out, can you please keep making them with your progress :) I have pectus and am really seriously considering the surgery now, thanks a bunch :)
Dang man, I also just had surgery on my knee (torn acl) and am about to have this surgery (tomorrow). I'm pretty pumped about it! Hope I be able to flips again soon! Anyway, thanks for the vids! Pretty helpful!
Did you have to get a Catheter in your penis? Just wondering because I'm getting 2 bars put in in 2 weeks, I'm 14 and a guy, and I'm sacred for the pain + the catheter, if you did does it hurt, and coming out does it hurt?
@TheCFLgirl It was about 6 months to do a full on chest and ab workout. You can do it earlier but your limited with the intensity if that makes sense.
Hey im 16 and I have Pectus as well and I was curious as to how you paid for the surgery? Was it from your insurance or did your family actually pay for it? Also how much was it?
How long do you have to wait before you can work out like you did before the surgery? I workout 4 times a week with heavy weights for muscle gain, and I can't imagine taking a brake for several months and have to start with small weights again.
@Tukket It takes about 6-7 months to get back to full intensity but it is totally worth it. After surgery you will be able to push your body harder then you do now.
Did you really stop motocross cause of your bar? I think you might be able return to it just not in competition form. I'm still snowboarding with mine in. Big falls hurt a bit but it's not as bad as getting smashed by some 250 lineman in football. Which is the only physical activity I've been told to stay away from.
Hey. Did the docter say something to u that when they remove the bar it is an possiblity that ur chest will sink in again? or did he/she say that it was rare or something?
Hey, you look great now! You didn't look bad to start with, but good luck with everything man you seem really cool!

what did the doctor say the bar cracking noise was?
chunipumper 9 months ago
@chunipumper she said it was normal and normally goes a way in a month or two. if it doesn't then you should make an appointment with your surgeon.

@bjd344 Thanks for the reply :) One more thing: can you feel the bar inside you? Does it hurt or irritate you at any moments?

@Bonaqua1337 its like reallly rare or somthing for younger people but for older people i think its a bit more chance , very rare though
leythz 9 months ago
@Bonaqua1337 It can happen but now they leave the bar in for 3 years to ensure it dont happen.
