  • Great DIY Paco, doubling the strap should hold a ton! Always enjoy your videos!

Cool music choice, I'm looking for it online~

  • @Spikestrip55

Thank you for enjoying the music! I thought I was the only one.

Yeah, those straps easily support two people. They're so strong, in fact, that I've switched to lighter-weight ones when space is an issue, since I generally don't need to support two people at once.

  • is there a "part 4" to this series? i like the vids so far, and want to make my own. this is the best series that i have seen yet! thanks for sharing with us!

  • @captjeff78

There's no part 4, but check out my other hammock videos. I have quite a few variations, and additional info, such as how to set it up, using a bug net, etc. Glad you like my videos --these were done in the very early days of my videomaking career, and I hope they've gotten better since then!

  • great idea but i turned my sound on mute 10 seconds in sorry

  • @Glinka19

Gosh, no one seems to like my music! That's okay.

FYI, tomorrow, I should have my latest hammock straps up. Much simpler, and they require no sewing.

Gosh, no one seems to like my music! That's okay.

FYI, tomorrow, I should have my latest hammock straps up. Much simpler, and they require no sewing. And no music!

  • make sure u have ur sewing maching in ur backpack. music is dumb.

  • @iworkforme

Dumb is in the eye of the beholder. For instance, I feel that using "ur" to represent "your" is dumb, but I generally don't go around pointing out grammatical errors.

This is an amazing album, actually. Bobby McFerrin and Yo-Yo Ma are master musicians. This song is a representation of them just having a great time!

  • I know a simpler way then having to do all this sewing, it's using knots, take 14 feet of webbing, cut it in half, now you have 2X 7 foot pieces, now fold the webbing evenly and make a overhand knot with the loose ends, now make overhand knots every 6 inches of the webbing for 3 feet and leave the looped end for hugging on the tree, when ready to use, bring the whole thing around a tree and pass the knotted through the looped end, attack the hammock to the farthest knot possible for tightening.

  • I meant pass the knotted end through the loop end and attach, not attack.

  • @flamedrag18

Attack or attach, it's a great idea. As a matter of fact, you're describing the same method I use in the Sew What Hammock. I guess great minds think alike!

  • Thanks, I might be using this for my outdoor hammock this summer.

  • Good video......music is not my cup of tea!

  • @larrylynn123

You mean, you're not into Disco? That's okay -- it's an acquired taste. It was either that or listen to me breathing.

  • @larrylynn123

Bobby McFerrin is a genius! How can you not like this music? That's okay, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.

  • Nice hammock how do you hang it

  • Superb video, well put together. But not everyone has or can use a sewing machine, so it can turn out to be a very expensive one off project. Try using a rope loop called a alpine butterfly, no need for all the sewing effort!

  • whats this song called, its cool. and i love your hammok its great.
