  • I did not imagine how painful this song would be in Eric´s funeral...

  • slow but sure....

  • Eric's voice sounds a little different when not multi tracked

  • Great video. Loved the song, especially the sax at the end.

  • Did Love it still love it.

  • I have just bought Eric's album "Eric Woolfson Sings the Alan Parsons Project That Never Was" What a legacy that has been left to us. Thank you so much Eric, Alan, Ian Bairnson,, David Paton, John Miles, Gary Brooker (thank you for Limelight) and the rest of the supergroup............and don't forget Freudiana

  • Sheesh, is this the original music video? How depressing! Ofcourse, the song in itself isn't very optimistic either.... It does fit perfectly.

  • el saxo comparado con mel collins es una puta mierda!!

  • That was a beautiful use of the footage. Thanks and sorry I've come to it so late.

  • I can't seem to find any live footage of Eric singing with APP. Man could you imagine Eric singing with Pink Floyd? Just a thought. Wish I could have seen them live.

  • unfortunately alan and eric never performed live together the studio band only performed live after eric left then the project disbanded in 2001 and alan moved to california to start a new life with his wife lisa today he tours with a new band the alan parsons live project

  • @azzorroww Thanks... Wasn't really sure because of the limited amount of touring they did. Thanks again for the info...

  • @paulyotwn He sounds a little like Dave Gilmour and Rick Wright combined.

  • they played this song at Eric's funeral,

    RIP Uncle Eric

  • How appropo...

  • I guess it is the best song they ever did ? I love it and it gives me good feeling. Somehow it is very sad.... my favorite

  • I heard this song only yesterday for the first time on BBC2 and fell in love with it

  • Excellent version of this wonderful song and the video is a true piece of art! Thank you for this post!

Many thanks to redbaron for this great share!

  • Excelente version, no sabia que existia, es mucho mas pausada y melancolica, mas con el video y ese pobre hombre triste...muy bueno!!!

  • Listening to this song makes me sad. I like these version much more than the original.

I wish, that Eric and Alan could work together again..:-(

  • The visual (Video) is one example of why Arts are a miracle and wonder of humanity.

I liked Eric's version too, he sings it perfectly, but I understand that It's more suitable to be in the clip, and Colin's version light up the imagination from the firsat note.

Colin sings, so called "breathy" and one can easily visualize the song in his heart.

I liked also the Classic cameric surrounding.

In short, one of my ever-time favorites

  • Awesome.

  • lol

  • looked like a bad day fishing....

  • did u know that alan parsons helped to produce the darkside of the moon by pink floyed

  • @tinkerbell6960 Remember this dude was referred to as the Floyd's "fifth member"?! Big-time crucial to "Dark Side"s whole composition, mixing it all, no?

  • @tinkerbell6960

he didn't HELP to produce it , he DID produce it.

  • really looks like a tool vid

  • on the cd i got, he sing more beautifull..

  • I like Colin Blunstone's version better.

  • So do I. He sings with much more feeling and emotion. Just love him.

  • Sure! So do I! Just keep in mind this is just the vocal guide Eric made in the studio for the vocalist (in this case Colin) and orchestration. This version is included in the new remastered and expanded edition of Eye In The Sky. Check out the official Alan Parsons Project web page for details. Take Care.
