  • Ah yes! Now I know what you mean, yeah, I always thought of these as like "steam trains" like what you said, I got this move from copying double staff head to head variations.

  • I actually hadn't thought of just ripping it off from double staves, probably because I don't see much doubles.

    I thought of calling them "steam trains" but I didn't like it as much as "Canoes"

    Steam trains however, is probably quite well suited to staves. :)

  • Yeah, they look really steam-trainish with doubles. And as for the term "pendulum weave" I don't like that, because you're not actually weaving anything, your arms don't even cross, but that's just me being pedantic about terminology.

  • You're just trying to ruin my fun, aren't you? If you'll look it looks like you're paddling a canoe. Do you not like the name canoes? I already did say it was a pendulum weave variation of sorts.
