Hey! how are you buddy? Im not 100 percent sure. I think that the smallmouth was actually a baby size largemouth:). I have not fish their lately, due to my work schedule. How are you doing? Have you been fishing lately????? :)
most of my bass caught there were in fact very close to shore. surprisingly, they like to lurk just a few feet away from the cobblestone, or even right under your feet! try fishing the gulp slowly, twitches and pause... try casting the gulp plastic worm gently next to some tall grass/reeds near water and shore...and wait for the bass to pull on your line!...it happens
THANKS YOUR SUGGESTIONS WORK! I caught 5 bass. 4 largemouths ranging from 10-12 inches(2 golden color like) and 1 smouthmouth! Thanks! I use the texas rig and Berkley Gulp Nightcrawlers! Truly a good day for me yesterday!
I posted 2 other old videos from this summer. Enjoy. Great to hear that you use Berkley Gulp NIghtcrawler! The great scent will catch them. If you feel lots of bites and you keep missing them during the hooking process, it might be very small bass or other fish. that happened to me heaps and gets quite frustrating as well as nervous...
Very nice. It seems like the weather is still warm enough to catch those warm water bass. Great! I din't have time to fish there this time anymore, I love to find the time. Yeah, I use plastic worm lures now and have great success. CHeck out the other video of mine of the secong biggest bass i caught there. enjoy! keep in touch.
great job on that second largest bass! I went to prospect park today to fish, but no luck. I also went out and purchase the gulp nightcrawlers 4 inch worm. got plenty of bites but not one caught. I do see you use texas style for the hook.
Whatsup! well done!!! it's always exciting and joyful to catch a largemouth bass!!! my first bass was there too!..years back and it was a small 5-6 inch one, then gets bigger and bigger...! did you use a live nightcrawler/earthworm?..i'm guessing because you used a bobber. when did you catch it?
Hi! it was truly amazing to see your video on your 20 inch large mouth bass. You rule! I did use a live nightcrawler and just dip the bait into the water and 15 seconds later a bite! I caught it on October 1, 2007!
