How is anybody supposed to improve without practice? That's why doctors do exactly that. They educate themselves and practice for 7 years and continue to do so afterwards. This past year awful, joint aches, insomnia bad. leg swelling, tingling, etc. etc. My question is I didn't see a tick, even though I had the bulls eye, does this mean the tick stayed inside of me?? @SaeediAm go see a doctor NOW... You can cover the area with a gauze pad soaked with hydrogen peroxide. If the lyme is only skin deep and the infection hasn;t spread than may slow or kill it. But you should still seek medical advice.

Unfortunately deer are outrageously overpopulating where I go to school, so it's no wonder I caught it. But it started out with a few large bites, but I applied lotion and antibiotics and they went away. I'm continuing with this treatment since my last outbreak is even smaller than the last.

Yeah I went... Got a couple of shots.. Also 6 days of Prednisone and 30 days of Doxycycline 100mg twice a day... Everything has subsided except the puking but I can deal with that just not the aching joints...
hey! I am so sorry to hear about your friends symptoms although after only a day of getting bitten I doubt that he got infected that quickly unless he had gotten bitten before today. I hope he feels better!
Not true. I was working outside and all of a sudden wasn't feeling well at all -went and sat in my bosses truck. Felt something really itchy on my upper thigh and found 3 ticks. They all had bitten and were excreting. Pain in every joint on the left side of my body within a week. Fevers, malise, difficulty concentrating, etc. That was 1997 and I've only gotten worse :( with some brief remissions when treated for individual symptoms.

You left out spinal pain, and severe insomnia...I also had burning of the eyes as well. The problem is the regular pediatrian will drag you through hell waiting for test results before referring you to a disease specialist...to where you're near Sepsis shock. The government needs to make changes allowing anyone to get immediate help for Lyme.

So go see your doctor and tell them you ahve concerns,it wont hurt to be tested instead of ignorance.

@angelleather57 no. A tick can be the size of a tiny dot on a page in a reading book. It can fall off easily.
