everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I have to tell you as someone who has worked closely with Gus, & actually disected his style & technique I have to tell you YOU'RE NOT EVEN IN THE BALL PARK with your comments. He is a leader & his technique is exceptional. He is one of the few players out there who plays with feel and can shred. HE IS THE REAL DEAL. Also dude, Ozzy and his camp know, Randy Rhodes, Jake E. Lee, Zack, Tony Iommi... I think I trust their judgement on this

@therockhouse That might be true but compare him to Stephan Forte and Kiko and even Jari Gus g comes off as a normal above average metal player. He might be amazing compared to 90 percent of american metal bands but he fits right in the norm for Finland guitarist.

@MultiPhil2009 I disagree, I think Gus G is one of the few contemporary metal guitarists who actually has some originality to his sound and technique. While there are a host of incredibly fast and articulate players out there (Rusty Cooley, John Petrucci, Alexi Laiho, Zakk Wylde, etc.) A select few have made me want to learn about and emulate their technique's. Gus G is one of those and I don't think Ozzy could have chosen a better one.
