Another idiot mixing South American and African Riftlake Cichlids, how hard it is to google a fish you're interested in and finding the preferred PH/GH/KH of the species in the wild?
Good on you for keeping up with water changes, but if you're mixing fish from different water parameters then you're already impeding their ability to live a full life.
@420TRex And another idiot who doesn't read the description or comments , if you did you would know that they are ALL rescue fish from small aquariums / sick etc .
So who is the fool now. Don't you think i know this? . My gf want's to keep them and i try to give them the best they can have and for your information the PH is fine for both ;) . But hey i'm just wasting my time on troll cya
@AweSomo84 Ok so I actually just read all 19 comments on this video and your description multiple times very carefully at it doesn't say that these fish were rescued anywhere in those texts. In fact in one of the messages you were referring to flake foods as "that paper looking fish food" and you also said that weren't adding any salts/buffers to the water so I can only assume the water is acid.
Please don't think I am a troll, I am merely another enthusiast looking out for the welfare of fish.
well lets start over , i try my best . They really are all saved(Put it on the other updates then sorry) and i can't argue with my gf to remove HER fish :(. So i'm a bit trapped . I could take the malawi / victory out but then she will be very un happy about the aquarium, she also doesn't want a second aquarium . So what can i do , if you look at my other video's i took out 6 malawi fish that she didn't like and took me a whole day ,.... and now they are back
@420TRex I constantly have pregnant fish :( . I replace 2x 15% water a week , the ph from the tap= 8.2 . That's why i put wood in so it slowly goes down .
well hope you understand now .. some times there is no other way .
lovely looking tank, nice tanganikan / malawi cichlids.... the convicts are a good companion as they can take care of themselves even with those type of cichlids.... also very healthy looking anubis plants :)
hey,did i see there an arius seemani? i tried to keep one but i died just after 1 week.i looked up some info and read that i could only live in fresh water if it's young, once its gets older it needs "brak" water.with my tank setup right now its not possible to do so,and i see you have ciclids to so... i hope you have a solution
just a fishlover who hates to see fish die because us.
Thanks for your responds and yes your totally right and so funny that you started talking about it , i was just looking at a video with a blue shark and i was asking the same thing!! :D
I'm not adding salt to the water and he loves to eat the small paper looking fish food . I have read that they need salt in their water when they are mature.

I am always impressed how nice the water and plants look in your tank, but I guess it is true what ppl say.
The bigger the tank the easier it is to take care of it and the more stable the bio cycle is.
Really nice my friend, take care! :)

Hey Man,
I did not forget you man :). It's so nice to hear from you.
Imaging I did a water change just 2hours or so before that , i always clean the tanks on monday.
Haha no man eheim potfilters and 25%waterchange ( vacuuming all the gravel till you got 25% out!) a week :).
True with the bigger the better.
Love and peace,
Erik
