  • Hi Love, I have started changing my diet, and eat only fat burning foods. and part of the change was to quit diet soda. Within 4 days I was having withdrawels symptons as in head aches. That was my first clue that Diet Soda is bad for you and addictive. Im learning to buck up and just ride the headaches until they stop, Im not giving to drinking that crap anymore.

Thanks for the info. You Rock!!

  • Great explanation!!!

  • The way she explained it made absolute since. I enjoyed the info in this video.

  • What about like seltza? Those types of bubble waters? San Pallegreno?

  • @jessdyer16 Totally fine! As long as the ingredients don't have "sucralose, aspartame, artificial flavors or colors".

  • They say that regular pop is actually a lot better for you than diet soda. Man I'm glad I stopped drinking that "crap" lol

  • She is hottness...

  • i would love to meet u :P u should consider modeling

  • Oh hey! Have you thought about cleverous 402 diet (google it)? Ive heard some unbelivable things about it and my sister lost a lot of weight with it.

  • OMG!

  • really interesting actually, thanks for the headsup! <3!

  • i love your videos!

  • I love love love love diet soda! And I know that its not good for me. But it is sooo addicting. I need my 2 ice cold diet sodas in the morning. I feel like I need them like some people need coffee in the morning. I've quit before but I always come back to it. One week I went without it and I swear I was lost in the mornings. By the end of the week, I caved and went out and bought the biggest case they sold. Not good, I know.

  • I was a HUGE diet coke fiend & I swear it's like poison. Now, every time I have a sip I get weird mood swings, totally BINGE on junk food & get headaches. I'm convinced that diet sodas are what brought on my grandparents cancer. My grandma died of ovarian cancer just last year. Stay away from aspartame.

  • Great video. There is information at the American Diabetes Association about studies that suggest diet soda makes people gain weight, especially around the abdomen.

  • Is it just diet soda, or should we also avoid diet juice, flavored water, or diet iced tea? I drink those all the time.

  • @wintervixen1 Hey Winter! As a general rule, water is ALWAYS the best beverage. Juices are ALWAYS to be avoided, unless you're juicing at home with a juicing machine and organic fruit/vegetables. Store bought juice has preservatives, sugars, etc. Any other beverages, just check the label and make sure they are free of aspartame, sucralose (splenda), dextrose, any sugar, meltodextrin. Some companies are starting to use the natural sweetener Stevia & Xylitol, which are absolutley safe to drink.

  • I'm seriously addicted to diet coke. I've gone weeks without drinking it, then I fall off the wagon. The effects on the liver that you mentioned scared the crap out of me. I'm going to try to stop drinking it from this sentence forward!

  • omg your awesome x

  • @khadijahmimi omg, So Are YOU!

  • Diet Coke is my vice.. I drink about 2 a day - but I can have 3 or more.. I've quit in the past because I was getting migraines.. I had really bad withdrawals - head aches, moodiness, tiredness.. but then I was good.. I slowly started up again and I feel that I should stop again... It's hard.. One trick that worked for me in the past is that if I had a pop I had water after instead of another pop, and that seemed to help.. so I'm going to try that again.. Thanks for the motivation!

  • @manonlemieux The water trick is excellent..and is probably one of the most effective ways of feeling better while eliminating the Diet Soda.

Thank you for watching this video, commenting, and respecting your body enough to make this HUGE change...keep me posted on your progress!!

  • @manonlemieux The migraines are probably more from the aspartame than the caffeine. I try to stay away from artificial sweeteners.

  • @maestrojon I agree! The research and studies on aspartame are quite alarming! Thanks for your input :)

  • Your videos are fantastic and informative. Thank-you.

  • @fftoocool No. Thank YOU :) I'm so glad you've learned something from them, and this comment made my day!

  • I agree with what you're saying & I'm subscribing :)

  • @cholulalv Thanks C, not many people know about this. Hopefully people like you and I can spread the word, and make the world a healthier place..one diet soda at a time ;)
