LOVE THIS MUSICAL! Alfie is amazing!!! vxx

  • @TheKaratekid1998 I don't know who the actor is, but the character's name is Feuilly, so you could probably find out his name if you searched the cast list for him.

  • @TheKaratekid1998 His name is Owain Williams :)

  • Does anyone know what character is the first person to sing? He is fantastic

  • @Angel31295w Enjolras (Ramin Karimloo) :)

  • @smoti94 thanks, he is sooo good :)

  • @Angel31295w and handsome :D

  • @smoti94 Yes, totally! :)

  • @woahitsbrooke92 I am certain it is her, or else she has a very similar face to Daisy Maywood. You see I recognised her, and I finally clocked when I was watching the phantom 25 dvd again

  • I love Robert as Gavroche, he should be in the movie! :D

  • absolute brilliance,,, .....

  • this is defiantly the best video of this song on here :)

  • Saw Les Mis when Nick Jonas was in it. I don't like the band 'The Jonas Brothers' but as Marius, Nick was pretty good!

  • Cutest Gavroche ever!

  • @pirate0jenny HIS NAMES ROB AND HES LYK, MY BEST M8.

  • Nice job --what software did you use for the subtitling?

  • 0:52

    Nick Jonas.

Right after someone reads this the fangirls will flock here. I know it....

  • @RoseDust101 I didn't know the Jonas Brothers still had fangirls...

  • @BeautifullyTragicxx

I know a few. I still call the Jonas Brothers JB, they deserve it, not Justin Bieber. I like Justin, but I'm soooo not a fangirl of him. But I know a lot about him. The only thing I'm a fangirl of is Fan couples of my favorite video games and Anime. (Unlike most girls my age who obsess with boys. Its funny at times but annoying.) The Jonas Brothers are a classic, and they are also the few teenage superstar's that haven't done drugs. Too bad they aren't a band anymore.

  • @RoseDust101

I thought it was him too o,o

  • @torodamaster

    It is him.

  • Do you all hear that you oppressors (Republican fat cats)

  • WOW! What fire and passion!

  • I can think of no one better than Ramin to play Jean Valjean in the West End :3

  • He is so damn beautiful. What a song.

  • The Bastille doesn't come into it, this the student uprising of 1832.

  • @erikslittlelotte56 He was Marius

  • Um, what is Nick Jonas doing there? Lol.

  • Comment removed

  • Ramin .... you are beautiful and nothing else needs to be said!!

  • Do you hear the people sing? In the year 2011, their voices were coming from across the world. From Tahrir Square of Cairo, to Red Square in Moscow, from New York to Rome to Damascus to Hong Kong, the people are rising up, to fight against the injustices they face for a better future for themselves and for their children.

  • nick jonas 0:52 what

  • @allison10sunny he was playing Marius

  • @ShishaNoSasori Thanks :)

  • @woahitsbrooke9 @jessmichelle97 @eveydel

I'm almost certain the woman who stands next to Gavroche is Daisy Maywood, who played Meg Giry in Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary

  • @littlemystylost The woman who goes to Killian Donnelly is Daisy. But the woman by Gavroche is much older, someone else.

  • Trent Richardson was conceived by his mother listening to this song.

  • does anyone know the name of the woman next to Gavroche?

  • Dream cast all the way!! But not bad

  • I've just been given the part of Feuilly in my school production - this song is my absoloute favourite. So darn powerful. And this version features the very VERY handsome Ramin <3

  • Anyone else notice Nick Jonas over there?

  • @MisterSamistad Nope, all eyes on Ramin

  • @MisterSamistad Yes he plays Marius in this version :)

  • @MisterSamistad He portrayed Marius, and even though I hate the JB, he wasn't bad

  • @MisterSamistad It is him, most unfortunately.

  • i want

  • waw waw waw i wan do like him

  • Awesome! I am doin this song in chorus :) it is sooo much fun!

  • Ramin!! Ramin!! Ramin!!

  • goose bumps <3

  • I believe he is called Ramin Karimloo

  • What is the firsts guy who sings name??:) Much Love <3

  • @sweetxtone Ramin Karimloo

  • It is kinda fitting that people are suggesting this be the anthem for the Occupy movement, being that the rebellion this song is about also didn't achieve anything. Although it would be different in the sense that those people died rather than realising that they should get off their asses and get a job.

  • @dannyboy10721 and that their movement actually meant something.

  • All im saying is...

Press 6 a few times and you'll be entertained.

Personally, I like how everyone in the background are harmonious angelic fish on the "give". Especially the blonde guy. He's the best. lols....

  • who was the person that went up behind gavroche and sorta hugged him?

  • Comment removed

  • I wish someone would come up with a musical about the Paris Commune or the Occupy movement.

  • do u hear the people sing? kinda hard not 2

  • Go Marius!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank god they got rid of the very 80's-esque synthesizers that were in the original score.

  • killian fucking donnelly, what a king

  • I got to see Ramin as Jean Valjean when I went to London. It was spectacular.

  • @lawyerupyouasshole OMMGGG you are so luckkkyyy!! it is my life ambition to become ramin's wife..

  • great, now i want 2 fight aswell.

  • I'm sorry, but this cast has got NOTHING on the 10th anniversary cast

  • it would be a really bad moment to fart during that performance.

  • Anyone know who the lady was that walked up and hugged Gavroche? Was it the actor's mother? Cause it seemed like a sweet moment when she walked up and I wasn't sure.

  • Comment removed

  • whos the guy next to killian?

  • I don't know the name of the actor, he's the one that sings "The Meadows of France..." part, notice when the guy next to him sings his part, he laughs, impressed at the enthusiam...this is so awesome to see how much they put in to it and have fun along the way.

  • Finals week.

    Occupy New York.

    Russia.

    Ho hum.

  • @Aurarice Love you.woohoo.

  • Conclusion; Ramin is awesome!

  • #OccupyBastille

  • @TheEvilmonkey25 This is the first of any "Occupy" protestor that I've heard of referencing this song or the play in general.

  • @BostonJeterFan I'm not really a protestor, there's no "occupy" where I live... Sadly...

But it would make an awesome "theme" for it.

  • @TheEvilmonkey25 Isnt this about the time when Napoleon was the emperor of France? And this is a revolutionairy group against him. Correct me if im wrong. But if not so, did the people occupy Bastillie again?

  • @TheEvilmonkey25 I was actually learning about the French Revolution in history and i noticed the same thing...

even though Les Mis isn't set during the French Revolution of the eighteenth century...same idea

  • @MrComputergeek3 Same to me, I just tought that would make some sense to write it here.

  • @MrComputergeek3 @TheEvilmonkey25 This is set around the June Uprising, which came after the French Revolution. It lasted only a day and was stamped out like in the show. The French had installed a monarchy after the revolution and people weren't really happy with it. Again.

  • Everyone who sympathizes with this song perceives himself as a slave.

  • 2 people dont hear the people sing a song of angry men.

  • This should be the theme song against the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) bill in America.

  • Ramin <3 my fave Enjolras :)

  • And me i hope one day the viruses of liberty infected China and Russia

  • A very poor music. It is a music of the capitalists who try to control the crowds to be salves. The only way to free people from slaves is communism. See China? It's a great nation with people who are not slaves and now Americans are slaves of China.

  • @h0102468 you are a moron of the highest degree

  • @h0102468 You're an ignorant bastard. Look how well communism worked out for the Soviet Union.....

  • @h0102468 Non monsieur vive la France vive la Liberté et la Democratie et vive Victor hugo

  • @h0102468 (Some validity in this comment--just check your own homes to see how many products are 'Made in China')

HOWEVER, THIS is all about Les Miserables and the powerful music of this 25th Anniversary performance. Enjolras, we will follow your lead!

BTW, there is a Chinese version of Les Miserables on YouTube...

  • Beautiful song. Very inspiring; I thought everyone did a good job.

  • OMG i did this!!!!! I was one of the children that came on in the ending song :D <3

  • I had no idea Nick Jonas was in this!

  • This song is put together PERFECTLY! I love this song! And the lyrics are amazing!

  • @Gotovinafan Is this even English?

  • I hope someone would make a novel and a musical about the Paris Commune or the Occupy movement.

  • Do you hear the 99% sing singing the song of angry men! The music of the people who will not be slaves again!

  • Let's go to war!

  • Look! It's the new Phantom of the Opera!!! XD

  • Do you hear the Phantom sing?

  • so many great singers on this show, but Ramin was definitely my favorite

  • a song is brilliantly

  • Can Occupy Wallstreet just do a flash-mob of this?

  • I can't stop but think of the Boston Crusaders.

  • A la volonté du peuple et a la santé du progré

  • The Egyptian revolution

  • great

  • so handsome <3

  • Nick Jonas was in the show?? seriously?

  • @apinkpig263 Yes, he played Marius.

  • This song makes me want to overthrow some people!

  • sounds dumb

  • This should DEFINITLY become the official song of tge Occupy Movement. SOLIDARITY FOREVER!!!

  • Beautiful song! They make a beautiful chorus, and Ramin as Enjolras is excellent.

  • Ramin is the only reason the 25th is even work watching. Michael Maguire is amazing, but Ramin is equally if not more amazing.

  • @JoshandJailyn yes he is one though there are many others here: Alfie, Norm, Matt, among others...

  • @histre101 Compared to the TAC, Alfie, and Norm can't even compare. And honestly, Lea is far better as Eponine, even though she was phenomenal as Fantine.

  • @JoshandJailyn Ramin's actually the reason I watched it. I wasn't even that interested in Les Mis until after I watched it.

  • @JoshandJailyn I dunno. I thought Matt Lucas made a pretty spectacular Thenardier. I'm sorry I wasn't able to be in London this past Summer to see him and Alfie Bow live.

  • @JoshandJailyn There's Lea Salonga

  • One person is the target of the uprising.

  • is it just me or is that Nick Jonas? 0.52

  • @ClintonGila No, that actually is Nick Jonas

  • Some one should organize a sing-along version of this at the occupy wall street rally, or occupy anywhere else for that matter.

  • @DrSho Indeed..been hearing this song in my head ever since occupy started...

  • Ramin...gosh he's AMAZING!

  • 1 person is deaf.

  • Do send this to OWS folks somehow....

  • @histre101 They already sing it at the protests quite a bit. Especially in new york.

  • Look: at 0:40, the student's hair is neat, and it stays this way until 1:06, when it goes messy.

  • @Burkhart4192 I would say it was probably held up by a gel that wasn't held very well, if he shook his head it would have fallen.

  • @Burkhart4192 Then again it very well may be that they recorded this from multiple showings, also wouldn't surprise me.

  • Hey, the student next to blondie gets his hair style changed- the first time you see him it's neat-ish, but later it's more messy. How'd that happen in a live show?

  • Does anyone know the name of the singer who starts at 1:07? Beautiful voice and such a stage presence.

  • @elwoodpdowd100 This was asked a while ago but I don't think anyone answered, so I figured I'd just say that the singer there is Owain Williams. :D He played Feuilly here and then on the anniversary tour as well. I rather like him too :)

  • 184 likes, 0 dislikes - can't disagree with this epic song!

  • An anthem for Wall Street.

  • Why is this not being sung on Wall Street?

  • @thomashuston I agree, but it WAS sung in the Wisconsin State Capitol.

  • To be honest, you only need Ramin singing this - I would follow his voice anywhere... ^^

  • Wonder what a performance like that one at the occupied wall street would do, ...

  • Ramin. I'll say it again. You need to be my lover.

  • This song could be a good national anthem of Dutch xD
