Well I hope your day stays great! There seems to be a sudden influx of comments on my vegetable videos today, which is odd - they usually don't get that many views!
Perfect music choice. Clever jokes. Mysterious loose hair lock, and such a serious expression that the timing of the jokes is always perfect. Five stars!
OH! sorry... It was the distinct hairdo and poses. I thought it was from a previous series. NOW I understand you have a specific vegetable modeling format, which I love, btw. ... I've just gotten used to your "hello!" chats which are quite different.
But I can see now-- you have "that look" in your prior veggie showcases.... especially the long hair bang in the front, which looks really great... and the very reverent focus on your exotic of the day...for example: Mysterious Vegetable.
So it fooled me... and busts me too as not having watched the full back-series of exotic vegetable modeling.
Thanks for being the coolest You Tube subscription on their whole site!
Matrimonial? Now that's just rude. Did you know that cavemen in the olden days actually used to make a primitive marmalade out of mammoths and marrows?
I don't know if I have ever seen this video?

@Larkvall I have made so many, that's not surprising!

in japan, marrows are pink and white, and they toast them in front of fires...

i think marrows are underated, they have
a very subtle flavour for the discerning
palette and are excellent stuffed...stuffed
to eat not like stuffed by a taxidermist

I tried to write something funny about Elise holding a marrow - but came over all finbar saunders. I give up....

My favorite of all your videos are the vegetable ones.

I certainly split opinions on them. Glad you enjoy them!

If anything in my video is funny, it sure don't sound that way. Can't stand doing narration. It's tough.

I get self conscious too. I only have one video so far because of it, but once you get feedback it helps build confidence.

When zucchini gets that big it's not as tasty and the seeds get huge.
If you steam cook and then give it a quick oil/spice stir fry you'll get more nutrients. But most people boil slices down to mush.
The battered and oil fried is yummy.
majesticmeteor 2 years ago
Zucchini is best medium-sized, yes (it's bitter when too small) - but marrow is good big!
Eliseharris 2 years ago
Oh dear! Elsie... stroking that marrow!
Cold shower time.

Well in a manner. Or a zucchini/courgette is a baby marrow!

Oscar Wilde famously said 'life is a marrow' and was often seen carrying a marrow under his arm.

The marrow is always a day away, yet we love it anyhow, according to the hit song from the musical Annie (both on stage and film).

No, it's new. Have I started to repeat myself? I wouldn't be surprised! Sorry, if so - I have lost track.

It's a possibility! Just shot the potato and marrow but who knows!

It's such a lovely colour, so big and round and fat...
(Wikipedia reckons zucchini is a type of marrow but I'm not convinced, although they're both squashes.)
OllieTheBean 2 years ago
Zucchini is a type of marrow, but the courgette is not.
But if you lay them in the road and drive over them with your car, they all become squash.
MagiMysteryTour 2 years ago
Eh? I thought zucchini and courgette were one and the same. (And the internet agrees, so it must be true.)
OllieTheBean 2 years ago
The subtle distinction is that zucchini and courgette are two and the same, or one and different. But not one and the same.

When someone famously said to "suck the marrow out of life," I hope that's not what they were talking about.

Sorrow not, for a sparrow will place a marrow atop the barrow on the morrow.
