This happend to me. My sim had a bowl of autumn salad in her hand for a while. I got it off when she tried to continue cooking it, and I made her put it down.

Face Turns black, Hair disapears, Clothing turns blue red and black.

try pressing ctrl,shift,and c, type testingcheatsenabled true (WITH the space), press and hold shift and click on somebody who is doing a non-toddler thing and is not wearing their work clothes, select "edit sim in create a sim", and make him/her a toddler. It makes a weird humanoid thing.

same thing happened to me i was cooking pancakes and then i had to go to work and had a bowl on my hand... after a while i continued cooking when i was in the central park and pancakes were laying on the ground... then the bowl dissapeared!

Press Ctrl, Shift, and C at the same time. Type 'Testingcheatsenabled true' like that(Without the ' 's. No more spaces, no less spaces, nothing else. Hold shift and press the bowl stuck to the Sims hand. Let go of the Shift key when the 'Object...' option comes up. If you get options like, 'Edit Sim in CAS' or anything else, you clicked the Sim(Deselect sim and try Shift Click again). Once you have ONLY 'Object...' as an option, click that. An option called 'Delete' should come up. Click it.

Before Sims3 came out, I was playing Sims2 and I had a nanny watch my sims kids when she went out. When I came back her body was frozen with her arms straight out and her feet together. But her head was still able to move and it acted the way it would if her body was still moving. And on top of that it was blinking a whole bunch of random colors. Haha.
