I ride for the challenge, but I also ride to bond with my horse. He knows when we get something right after we have practiced for like and hour. He knows when we get a clear round at a show. I've had 6 horses over the years and I definately consider Dillon to be my favorite. We get along so well together. Before he was diagnosed with arthritis, my trainer wanted us to start going to some big time shows, not just local ones. I'll probably never find one like him again...

I want to say riding isn't a sport. It may be to some people... But sport doesn't cover it. I don't care when people say it isn't a sport, because i agree. It's a lifestyle. It's a way of thinking. It's more demanding and much more rewarding than any sort of petty relationship... Especially around kids my age, the fickle, stupid dating rituals of high school. I love you one week is We're through the next. I know my horse will never do that to me. He's a partner for life <3

I Ride A Pony && She Is New To The Riding World, She Doesnt Go Into Canter && Im Literally The Only One Who Rides Her As I Can Only Get Her Into Canter But She Is Such Hard Work But I Love Her For It Coz She Is Making Me Work For It. different countries have different styles. In some countries, the riders are taught to propel their legs backwards when the horse jumps a large fence so as not to interfere. It's not really our job to call their methods "good or bad". "Our way" is not the ONLY way. British, German, Austrailia.. riders get just as good of results as American riders.

I own my own horse [a 16.1hh pure Tb] and i know im lucky and everything just to have an amazing ceature but he makes me feel i want to give up but i would be lost without riding. He is nearly always lame over little things and seems to be lame all the time and ever since i got him ppl have said so much and bit**ed so much about him sayin he will always be lame and i should sell him but im not giving up that easy :D Its a bit strange that we go thru so much but its deff worth it !

riding is a year lng 24-7 commitment different aspects of horse riding suit different times of the year thts the only reson y we hav different seasons. uve got jumping showing dressage nd loads more. most of thm do last all year.
