I was a sales agent for KB homes in Charlotte NC and I would definitely tell anyone to stay away from KB as their builder. They are not a reputable builder.

They're all to blame, the original land owners, the lease holders, the so-called environmental inspectors, KB etc. If there was one stray bomb, well that was one that got away...but 187 barely inches from the surface?!

Believe me when I tell you. KB is the shitiest builder EVER! With all the federal environmental regulations, THEY F*CKIN KNEW WHAT THAT LAND WAS USED FOR! Besides it was in use for bombing practice only 50 years earlier... that's really not a long time... and court records would have revealed that.

Same exact thing is happenning in Orlando, FL. Vista Lakes, an upscale development was also built in a former practice bombing range. Lennar is the builder but as far as concerned, the Army is at fault.

We're going through the same exact thing in Orlando, FL right now. Our homes were built over the former Pinecastle Jeep Range which was heavily bombed in the 1940's.
