Strange case

I retract my previous statement. I dropped my iPod 4th gen into my dogs water bowl(don't ask, I don't know how it happened.) with the defender case on and it came out perfectly fine. I still threw it into a bag of rice to be safe. As long as you get it out of the water ASAP, should be fine.

I don't think they are made to be water proof. They are for everyday clumsiness,be it indoors, or on a sidewalk/asphalt. On that note, if you ARE taking you iPod/iPhone/android etc.. anywhere near a body of water(say a river,bathtub,sink, or drain ditch of any kind) You are a moron.

Great video!! I recently purchased a Deffender case,I like the case,the way it feels and looks. It offers good protection but I noticed a few scraches on the chromed edges around the phone... I tried to remove them but what i tried did not work..... I know what caused this,it was the direct contact between the metal edge (chrome) and the inside of the case........suggestions??? You can put the case in the belt clip backwards for carrying around on your belt or forward for using the clip as a stand. You can't carry it around with the screen forward or it will fall out easily.

I found the best way to get rid of the watermarks is to very lightly puff talcum powder on the inside of the screen protector. It's a bit tricky but you can just wipe it clean if you put too much on.

The watermarks were driving me nuts!

So much, so that I went back to my old iPhone cover. Then I came across the talcum powder video here on YouTube.

I tried that. It didn't help at all. I guess it depends on the screen protector you use. Besides, I think it's the stupidest thing in the world to have to use a screen protector under another screen protector. Otterbox really has to get their act together.

Great review. I was also thinking that in theory if you mixed and matched the inside hardshell part with other Otterbox silicone outsides you could create a few more colors. Such as white and black or black and pink or yellow and white. So who wants to have an iPhone case party lol?
