this is really overboard completely, taking it way to far, and its a load of bull shit, many people love elevators and these nice buildings that my have neat features, security just loves to take that away from all of us, its highly unfair. this is destroying our hobbies, how would you like it if your hobby was taken away because of security?
CCTV and Card Key Access to offices are okay but NOT electronic turnstiles restricting access to elevators. It makes your building an unwelcoming place.
There's no need for security gates. Why? All it does is gives a decoration for safety. Buildings such as the Chrystler Tower for example don't need them because that place is a landmark. Any landmarks like those today with the electronic turnstiles wouldn't be considered as a landmark, tourists mostly like to ride the elevators to the top and back down. It makes us all angry and annoyed. This is taking away our freedom of riding elevators!
Its a real bummer for us folks who like to ride elevators. Paranoia has hit an all time high in this country. Go to Canada and they dont have this nonsense.
