@JuanCurmina I have the 9810 and its pretty awesome, both are equal in specs it all boils down to your preferences, I personally chose the 9810 for the larger screen cuz i Like to watch shows on the go because my commute to school is 45 mins a day plus the touch screen and keyboard is a great combination.

I think Bberry's push email is the best. I have an iPod touch, latest generation. Sometimes, my bberry would notify me when there is an email much faster than the iPod. Sometime, the iPod didn't even ring to notify me until I open the Mail app and then it rings.

@514Productions You didn't mention but A5 is a dual core processor, SnapDragon is a single core processor which means they are actually same in the speed. iPhone has 8 mp camera + auto focus + 1080p video recording but BlackBerry has 5 mp and 720p video recording and it doesn't have auto focus.

it has a good keyboard, but touch screen keyboards on Android offer unrivaled auto input etc. I think reality is there has been a switch in markets most businessmen and corporate are probably using androd/apple and the BB market has changed to a younger market one that is buying for their image than for functionality or practicality.

Sorry. I have never understood the point of Blackberry other than for the business advantages it ONCE offered, through its email/messenging service, to businessmen and women. And in 2012 I don't see why businessmen will still need this type of device considering, e.g Galaxy Nexus/iPhone etc can do everything a BB does and MUCH more. e.g video calls, productivity etc. As for average users I think their just trying to do it for an image thing.

this phone is outstanding in speed, internet browsing and everything. but since I bought it I faces 2 problems 2 times it shuts down without turning on again so I has to send it to insurance couple of times which took with them month's, then they gave me a new one now since 5 days. its ok until now but it lagged once by keeping the incoming call page stucked so I had to remove the batteru and put it in again :(

Compared to the Blackberry Bold 9900 with a 1.2Ghz single core chip, 5Mp Camera with 720p video recording and is 10.5mm thick, clearly the iPhone wins on paper. However the iPhone and Blackberry are aimed towards very different markets so it would be up to the users decision to choose what's best for them.

Got suckered with the Bold 9000 and it was a disaster. Get used to battery pulls and low app space. Everything from the video player to the camera had querks. The screens failed on the first two phones and the keyboard on the third just out of warranty. Not one significant update released to fix the bugs either. Never again rim...sent from my Samsung GS2!

@mrssshortieebby They are both two VERY different phones and its really personal opinion. If you want to type on a keyboard and use email and quick phone calls, go with the Blackberry Bold. If you want a smartphone that has lots of games and all-around average use, go with the iPhone 4S. In my opinion, consider more on the fact that you have an up to date ipod touch and that you would just be getting the same thing for the iPhone. Blackberry-easier typing, more "businessy." I think its fancier..

@sol200997 you can actually turn off that setting :).. "green" means there are no new messages, "red" means a new message has just been received.

By turning off that setting, the phone LED will only blink red in the event a new message has just been received. Therefore, even when your phone is on silent mode (no vibration/tone), you can just peek into your pocket/bag to see if theres a red light blinking. I turned off that continuos blink setting cos it annoys me too

put this phone on 3g&2g network(combo mode) to save battery :) mine got 14 hours the whole day of moderate use :)

or you can put it on 2g,,just change to 3g when you really need a speed for using the browser.thats what I do..and that will answer your short battery life. :)
