I successfully decoded the SSTV image from the video audio track using the SSTV Software that comes bundled with the Ham Radio Deluxe (HRD)/DM-780 software. This particular SSTV transmission was sent in Martin 2 mode. The "auto slant" in the DM-780 SSTV software corrected the slant problem. Thanks for the demo.

People probably arent bothered but if youve played portal 2 and got the achievement final transmission, if you record the sound you hear from the radio and convert it to sstv it comes up with a picture

Thanks for posting this video! I was able to use the audio from your video to test the SSTV feature in a free program I recently downloaded called "Ham Radio Deluxe - Digital Master 780. I decoded an almost perfect picture! Now I need to try to tune in some SSTV signals over the air!

Mic is not recommended but high volume is not true I used a crappy mic and a low volume recording on my cellphone and it worked first try

you need to make it record from audio inside computer, do never use the mic. it needs a HIGH volume.

Should i be able to get this video to decode into MMSSTV --I have my Microphone in front of the speaker..I'am getting some sort of a picture--but its very poor

I get the same distortion but I'm pretty sure it's compression artifacts due to the flash format of YT videos. If you had a uncompressed WAV or similar it would be ok (albeit one huge file!)
