  • Recommends the GF55???????????

    take away his endorsement HaHa!!!!!!!!!!

  • What's the guitar he's using?

  • Haha he said Guam.

  • Awesome!! Camera man sucks though haha

  • Not paying roadies is good? Note to self; never work for this guy.

  • what band was rob from?

  • dat allows me to model any gutar lol

  • A show in Guam! My home, and I'm also a GR player ;)

  • суппер машинка!-1350;баксов!

  • hello my good sir and friend,, i really need your help about this gr55,, 'last time inside the lcd of the gr55 you can see the volume level number monitor,, when you press the pedal so you can see the volume level from 0-100 it's working,, because almost 2mths i didn't use this effects, that's why i don't remember,, so now almost 4days i don't know where to find..can you give me a tip?

  • is this thing like a pre amp? so it needs an amp/poweramp?

    thanks

  • I WANT THIS THING SO BAD.Eventually i will have saved the money and by then it will have been replaced by an upgraded model

  • He is like Pheobe from Friends

  • he's fuckin high! its a sweet pedal too :)

  • play in guam ha! i'll nuke those bitches

  • This is my next pedal.

  • Dude looks stoned. As in "How did my career come to demoing infomercials for Roland" stoned...

  • @BlackAdderLXX You should check out a Danger Danger show. Rob is an uber-talented player.

  • hi sir,, please show me how to use gr55 without gk3 pick up like yours.. tnx..

  • @joel1974ful I believe that he has a Roland ready guitar.meaning all the wiring and controls are internal,if you look close you can see the thin black pickup by the bridge.

  • @Cory1721 I think you HAVE to buy that black pickup to use this device. You can buy the pedal bundled with the pickup and install it yourself.

  • its swisgaar

  • That is totally cool To elaborate on the perfect "Cloud technology" aspect of the GR-55 :-)

  • Thank you Marcel - Totally man you tear this machine UP!... You helped sell me on buying one & I look forward to decades of unlimited inspiration on the Roland Guitar Synth product line.

I had a GR-33 Before I "stumbled upon" this one. I was initially intrigued by the GR-20 digitall pitch detection algorhythm but when I called and asked about "the new guitar synthesizer" the Guitar Center guy said..."You mean the GR-55?" and .... then.... thank You :-)

  • can you use this on a acoustic guitar

  • Comment removed

  • @Howardtripper

yes but only steel strings, not nylon strings.

  • @Howardtripper Yup :-) unless the acuoustic guitar is a 12 string. or.... a 16 string....or....2 string lol jk.

You just need to have EITHER metal strings from 4 to 6, bass OR guitar & purchase the appropriate pickup GK-3 or GK2a if you have that already or GK3b (for Bassists). IF you have nylon strings.... IMO, your best bet as an "invested player" is to go with a sweet high-end piezo MIDI classical guitar.

  • wow 7/4 time signatre!!

  • Skip to 2:00 for actual playing. Although it's the same song that's on all of the GR-55 demos. All of them.

  • Is this guy loaded or what?

  • @DrRussPhd sounds like it - quick nurse - another dose of Spandex!

  • great demo except for the incredably poor camera guys work...

  • I own a Gr 33 & have connected My new Gr 55 with it by using a Us-20 switch. The sound engine on the Gr 55 is smokin hot, I'll probably end up selling my Gr 33. p.s. when you combine them both you have a total of 7 sounds.

  • ive been using the gr-20 and gr-33 for a while now, I would give this a shot mainly for the tracking improvement....cant really tell if those were GR-20 sounds but I rather live with downscale sounds + better tracking than vice versa...

  • We need some BASS GUITAR demos so us lowly bass players can see it's performance and offerings.

  • @gastr1c exactly..

  • @gastr1c That's what I'm talking about!!!!! I have a VB-99 and a GR-20, and basically had to buy them by faith!!! Only because Roland won't invest as much in us "visionary" bassists...

  • @gastr1c Search this: Roland GR-55 Guitar Synthesizer TV. Should be near the top. Just skip the talking at the start :)

  • i like it :)
