Well I'm from Montreal, and basically everyone here has a bit of a French side to their accent, even if they barely speak french. Doesn't sound at all like the Toronto accent :P
i'm from nova scotia, so i don't know about the rest of canada, but everyone here pronounces words like "out" like "oat". so aboat (about), hoase (house), etc.
Pretty much the only canadians with the "aboot" accent come from the east coast, everyone there has a very obvious accent. Actually, I find that some people in minnesota kind of sound like east coasters, there was a waitress at redlobster in duluth and i thought for sure she was from newfoundland lamo.
I'm from Vancouver and I say all those words the same as you! I think there's only a small percentage of Canadians that say "aboot" and have a hardcore accent.
You're cute. Anyway im from singapore and i don't have that kind of problem here cox mostly we speak in our very own unique 'singlish" so we are identified by that.
Most Anglophone Canadians I've met and heard speak very clean standard North American English. They often enunciate things better than Americans whereas Americans tend to have what I call a "lazy tongue".
Hahaha I feel you. I was in Germany for a swim competition and the team from England thought that we as Canadians had our own dialect... On the upside we convinced them that we lived in igloos and had pet beavers / moose ;)
your video style reminds me of the music video of the song "500 miles" by the Proclaimers.

@thegmexican
Generally refers to the descendents of French colonists and most of them live in Quebec, Montreal is a city in Quebec, not its own provence.
