Third, serious journalists have studied the ideas laid out by the committee and underscored that early testing doesn't significantly improve a woman's chances of survival. Republicans don't like big Insurance companies. Unfortunately government mandates and legislation, largely sponsored by democrats, ensure monopolies, forced coverage that bloats premiums, and no free market between states for coverge plans to compete.

We can fix health care by allowing companies to compete between state borders and to stop mandating coverages for elective care items, It would be similar to how my oil change cost isn't paid for with your car insurance premium.

Your aunt went shopping for insurance only AFTER she was diagnosed. My wife does not have breast cancer but she DOES have health insurance. If your aunt had had health insurance part of my wife's premiums would have paid for your aunt's treatments. If everyone is forced onto a single payer, government run program, it will do exactly like Medical and Medicare do today. It will deny reimbursement for procedures at rates many times higher than those of private insurance plans.
