I found that MGS 4 got excessive long cutscenes and little gameplay. Dont get me wrong, it is an amazing game and i enjoyed every bit of it. But i hope the next one they doesnt make excessive cutscenes and more gameplay. MGS 3 had a good balance between cutscene and gameplay.

Most people won't appreciate MGS4. There are two reasons for this.

First, they probably played the American version of it (modified by someone other than Kojima). They should play the Japanese version (original version).

Second, they probably didn't calibrate the game and television picture properly. Unlike other games, MGS4 requires a different kind of calibration that's different from what you'd expect.

MGS2 I wanted more and we got more, MGS3 Snake eater I still wanted more, MGS4 Guns of the patriots I was finally satified. I love MGS it's one of my favorite games I got all MGS 1-4 the gameplay's fun and the story just grabs you from reality. I didn't want MGS to end or at least I thought until MGS4 came out then I rethought it and I shoulda said I didn't want it to end with questions. It's already pure gold end it now and let Snake RIP.

Talking about the Rising, I hope they will realize that 2010 regular PC has multiple times of power than the 2006 PS3, so I really hope they make separate PC version to make their dreams true this time.

You should know that the Japanese version of MGS4 is Hideo Kojima's version. The US / International version is the Ryan Payton's version, I think.

I thought Hideo was supposed to annouce a super Exclusive PS3 game at THE 2010 TGS. What happened?

You should play the japanese version of MGS4 if you liked the game so much. You'll soon realize how different the japanese version (original) is compared to the American version (modified gameplay, script, voice acting, and so on). They're two different games. And Kojima did some voice acting in the Japanese version. See if you can spot which character he did the voice for.

The thing i love about Kojima is he never makes games with the intention of leaving things out for the next game, he never plans trilogies nor does he just give us pieces of a game/story every 1-2 years. he makes every game like its his last and puts all his effort into it. then it becomes popular and he makes a sequel. he never assumes his games will be long epics so the games always have good closure and big surprises for the next game.

If you truly like Kojima, then you should play the Japanese version. He did a voice over for one of the characters in the game. See if you can spot which character he voiced.

Secondly, the Japanese version is closer to HIS game. Some other person modified the japanese version's gameplay, script, voice overs, and so on, so much that almost everyone says that they're two different games.
