I wonder who will benefit from the divide between China and Japan which based on half truth and shallow logic.

Throughout our history, we respected and cherished the great intellectual products of ancient China. Not only the character sets, the philosophies and lessons from ancient politics. Not once, in our history, we ever thought about banning them.

In fact, the Imperial Calendar always used characters taken from the ancient Chinese scriptures, without interruption.

Benefit from the divide? Japan and China were never one country. Just because they took some aspects from China does not mean they were the same country. The influence of the Arabic numbers (1,2,3,4,5) and its prevalence in the UK does not mean that the Arabic world and the UK were once one country and now are divided. Every country takes their culture from another society, that's how the world functions.

香淳皇后は和歌を詠まれるような、柔らかで雅やかなお声と思いま­す。

香淳皇后のお声は、初めて拝聴しました。嬉しいです。
