auto rewinding the shit out of it.

  • Someone go into Pete's crib and Pour a pot of hot coffee all over his MPC. GET BACK ON THE SP, Pete!!! 1200 forever

  • hahaha

    seriously

  • hahaha thas real!!!!

  • @drumatic Damn, son, that's a little dramatic, don't you think, lol. I know Pete was like Van Gogh on that SP but he ain't exactly drawing stick figures on that 2000xl, feel me?

  • @drumatic that's my word!

  • @drumatic Agree

  • @drumatic SP-1200 was the soundtrack to the 90s era beats: rich, deep & ambient.

Soon as producers tried to update their sounds, we entered the gay bling era.......

  • @drumatic Should we do that to Premier's MPC also? Dilla's? Black Milk's? Alchemist's? Does it really matter what machine you use? A lot of dudes make garbage on "classic" gear. Pete makes hot beats on the MPC 2000XL, SP-1200 or whatever.

Except for that Johnny Cash remix, that shit was terrible

Extra P and Pete need to do more tracks!

  • best song ever

i said it and i meant it

  • Which one?

  • It's called

9th wonder & pete rock - class is in session

    greetz

  • Horns are always amazing with Pete Rock's joints.

  • C'mon the loaded Sp's the ensemble

Pete Rock together with Large the bomb combo!!!

  • That's some hotness right there! Love the drum kit! The background vocal shrieks are from none other than Loleatta Holloway. Peace.

  • this is fuckin sick

ive put it in my top 125 list(Y)

  • the dream team duo

  • Pete at his peak!!!

  • why peak? he is and will be always on top

  • Because he's not at his peak. There is a peak for all the greats... with few exceptions! Would you say Jordan was at his peak in 2000 or in the mid 90's? Anyhow... I hear what you're saying... he's a LEGEND! YES!

  • i agree with you there! he is a legend but he'll never be able to duplicate the hot joints he droped in the 90's!!

  • word.

  • Jordan was retired from 99-01

  • That's not a retirement dog... that's called HIATUS! haha

  • nah dogg, its not .......BITCH

  • NERD! you're a talentless child...wah wah..."nah dogg, it's not" wah wah hahah!

  • SKUNK!you're a publess eel...arf arf...."thats not a retirement dog" arf arf bybyby!

  • Doooo itttt...

  • This song was so underrated. This was one of the best songs made in '96.

  • yeah i agree

so many under rated raps from back then

souls of mischief are a good example

  • Souls got their luv-still have religious fanatics- real ginuine hip-hops'- been more and more nitch since it blew in 90's its not a 2000 thing. most are casual users some "free base" - if U feel me.

  • due to that bullshit ass east coast west coast beef a lot of joints went unnoticed around that time

  • from both coasts
