  • Pastor Steve Anderson wants homosexuals put to death. If homosexuals were killed, King James, ( who was gay) would never have commissioned the King James Bible. Pastor Anderson loves this KJV Bible!.How hilarious that he doesn't seem to know King James was gay, or as he would say a fag.

  • is this guy stupid? i checked the niv (both versions), and they're NOTHING like what he read!

  • This is sad

  • NIV is satan's favourite bible, after all he wrote it, and it is demonic bible it is counterfeit who trusts in niv is goin to hell who doesnt trust in kjv is goin to hell

  • @kentx333 KJV was written 1600 Ad. The dead sea scrolls (Which the NIV takes information from) were written between 150 BC and 70 AD.... Your and idiot

  • @NightHawkBomber001 Your mother is an idiot for giving birth to you...the worlds better off without you.

  • @kentx333 O how sweet, another religious hypocrite. perhaps the world you’ve made for yourself where you remain ignorant I am not welcome, But I’ll happily admit that in reality I follow your religion better than you do, and I’m not religious. Go back to your corner and take a time out

  • I'm looking into the price, and from what I can see, the NIV is actually pretty equal in terms of cost to the KJV. The study bible costs $6 more on amazon, but you can hardly call them equal when the NIV weighs in a half pound heavier. I'm seeing some blatant dishonesty there. You can get NIV as a free PDF

If we want to get technical 2:cor 2-17 talks about mixing the bible with water, so profit is a fine fit.

NIV accepts non-profit use, so that's another lie.

  • Hey everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that I have constantly been emailing Steven Anderson in regards to his unbiblical beliefs, and he has never responded. I particularly was disturbed by his sermon on Obama and his view on repentance. There were quite a few other things I've emailed him about though (about 20 emails). I propose that Steven Anderson creates a video in response to my emails, answering my questions (and any you want to add). Favor this comment if you agree.

  • First off, I'll start with the basics. I work at a Christian bookstore (the most prominent in the nation), and we price all our Bibles equally. You're already wrong. Also, the King James is the ONLY major translation to include that extra commandment. One other one included it, but with a side note saying that it's questionable it was ever meant to be there. You said yourself on you website that we don't have the original manuscripts, so how can we know?

  • the NIV is from satan

  • @kentx333

    amen!!!

  • @kentx333 kentx "333"? Are you only half evil?

  • This guy twists everything and turns it into lies...

  • The KJV IS still copyrighted in the United Kingdom. More lies from Anderson. Just when I think he can't come up with anymore garbage, he perpetuates the myth about the copyright.

Shameful to watch a man who claims to be a child of God LYING to his little flock.

  • NIV is associated with the Dead sea scrolls buddy.

If you think logically you will come to this conclusion

JKV was written from copies of copies of copies, ETC.......

It goes on for a while. (not to mention the manny times it was translated)

The NIV on the other hand is based off of the Dead sea scrolls. Recordings of the bible that are more reliable because they were written earlier in the original translation.

Any historian with half a brain would go for the NIV as its reliable.

  • Comment removed

  • Verses that were removed from the NIV

were verses that did not coincide with the dead sea scrolls

If there are two historical accounts, the one closer to the date is often more accurate.

The KJV was translated from translated texts, and copies of copies ETC.

The Logical conclusion is that the NIV is more accurate.

  • @Theudas001

    Fair enough response.

  • Could someone from this church please ask him why any Christian would wish our President to die from brain cancer?? That is very un-Christian. What we should be praying for is that Obama would be drawn to the Lord and repent of his sins, and become a true follower of Christ. John 6:44- That way when he does "pass on" he will go to heaven instead of perish! Jesus even instructed the Pharisees to repent. He did not immediately wish death upon them!

  • i agree that the original text were earlier then the textus receptus used for the KJV... however Westcott and Hort's revisions to these gnostic versions of the text are NOT the standard as they have been edited to change meanings to meet the gnostics ideas.

  • I am not saying Wescott and Hort are the standard. But a Bible written over 1600 years after Christ certainly isnt either! Dont get me wrong I love the KJV as the Word of God....but its NOT the standard.

Now, you say Wescott and Hort's editions were edited to change meanings to "meet the gnostic ideas". I am doing quite a bit of study in this area right now. Please give me an example of a supposed changed meaning...we may want to consider PM if this goes further...so we can type more.

  • I address this in my writing, "Kings James Version vs. New International Version" If you would like to talk on PM you are more than welcome to add me, message me to get my YIM.

  • The copyrights to the niv are owned by zonderman which is own by rupert murdoch who owns fox entertainment whom also owns the copyrights to the satanic bibel whom also use to own the biggest porn company do you all understand now

  • this man's kids should be taken away from him. he's got a temper and his children would be more safe with a stable and sane individual.

  • oh my gosh. you are an idiot. if your people weren't retards, you'd have no following...

  • @crackerjack0613 Precisely, I can't believe he hasn't had his ass laughed out of town. Nasy little piece of twisted work.

  • the problem is, he could get laughed out of town but he'd think he's all the more holy

  • @crackerjack0613 Precisely, he's proud of his imagined persecution. Suffering in the name of some god somehow gives him a higher standing in that religion....much like the suicide bombers of 9/11.

I'd bet my bottom dollar he's searching his sick mind for a way to make a bigger splash in the news. Negative attention is better than none in his world.

  • Religon is false?? all religons are based on Paganism..yes i believe in god the one who is the opposite of satan cuz satan represents evil obv....The ten commandments were takin form the eygyptian walls called the 41 rules of something Moses was not givven the commandments he was taught them form someone...if you dont believe then look up the study of metu neter the truth is there brohters and sisters

may the Creator bless us all

  • NKJV is very subtil in its evil corruption of the Word. Very telling, it replaces the word "subtil" with "cunning" when describing the serpent.

In the authorized Bible the serpent says "ye shall be as gods", in NKJV it says "you will be like God". If knowing good and evil makes one as a god, then the serpent didn't lie about that part (in KJV). Their eyes WERE opened and they knew good and evil, and hid. The serpent's deception was "ye shall not surely die". Okay. somewhat off-topic.

  • And the wages of sin is death. (They sinned by eating of the fruit.)

  • @Sandrson1611 if u truly believed in finding the noncorrupt version of the bible u would know that the KJV was writen over1700 years after the Bible was put into the canon. Therefore, u would learn Greek & Hebrew & throw out ur KJV & only use the orginal language of the bible.

Do u think Hispanic should have a bible? there translation cannot match ur KJV word for word because of language differences

BTW: why does it matter what translation we use as long as we all serve God and win people to HIM

  • Who is HIM?

  • because the original manuscripts are different... KJV used the Textus Receptus and the NIV used the gnostic non believing manuscripts. NIV manuscripts were changed in over 4,000 places.

  • Copyright is an invention of man. YOU LAIR. YOU NEED TO REPENT OF YOUR SINS.

  • One dollar more?

Yes, it has nothing to do with the fact that the NIV version is in more widespread than the KJV, and certainly nothing to due with supply and demand, the foundation of a capitalist society.

Because a book STORE would never consider profit margins when selling the Bible.

  • Only the Greek is pure. My pastor used to read the Greek version. It has lots of differences with King Jimmy.

  • The problem with that is that then you can't trust the English you have in front of you. You then have to go to some Greek guru who is going to tell you what it really means.

I believe God intended for the common man to have access to the word of God.

  • Just hypothetically speaking, is my pastor, who studied Greek, less trustworthy than the King James translators? And there are a LOT of differences between the Greek text and KJV.

  • That's a complicated question.

In one sense if he is using the Greek underlying the KJV, maybe not, but then you are having to go to a man to tell you what the Bible says.

God has given us the ability as the priesthood of believers to understand the Bible for ourselves.

If a Pastor corrects the King James Bible with the Greek, then yes is less trustworthy if he starts talking about unfortunate renderings and mistranslations, then boot him out the from door with his Greek text.

  • The other thing is that no two Greek compilations agree with each other.

Even one that you can buy in a store today that says its the underlying Greek text of KJV may not be the actual text of the KJV.

The only want to know for sure what the word of God is, is to read the KJV.

  • Wow, it was also one of these sermons that directed a man to take a rifle to an Obama speech. Seems you're making wonderful friends now doesn't it?

  • If we don't exercise our rights, then we can loose them.

From a spiritual stand point, that is why we should always exercise our first amendment and go soul-winning. hint-hint to other Christians!

  • That's why the New American Bible is the correct version :)

  • The New American Bible reads a lot like the NIV and is a Catholic Bible.

  • @seafury

Bunch of Catholic haters here apparently.

  • The Catholic church is the Whore of Babylon as described in Revelation 17. The official church colors and Rome being the city with 7 hills is mentioned there.

The Catholic church teaches a faith plus works doctrine, but the Bible says we are saved by grace through fatih. Eph 2:8-9

  • @josephericlopez

I agree, grace saves us, but faith without works is dead.

  • @josephericlopez

I don't recall the mentiong of the "Roman Catholic Church" in Revelations at all.

The King James Bible originated from a church that was based on Catholic teachings, but split because the King of England wanted to fornicated with multiple women.

So your denomination is reading from a version founded on fornication. Nice.

  • Not exactly. There was a protestant reformation and out of that came the AV 1611.

The King Jame Bible has been historically used by protestants that broke away from the Catholic church. The Catholic church hated the Bible, especially the KJV.

  • @josephericlopez

    >>"The official church colors"

Really? Revelation 17 mentions the yellow and white of the Vatican's flag?

    >>"Rome being the city with 7 hills is mentioned there"

City of seven hills. That's funny. Can you name the seven hills of Rome? I'll give you a hint: not one of them is Vatican Hill. That's because Vatican Hill was originally outside the city of Rome.

Speaking of the whore and the beast... which one of our Bibles is tied to the number 66?

  • No its the official colors of the Catholic church, purple and scarlet (bright red) color and gold for the golden cup, Revelation 17:4.

verse 6 shows where the Catholic church has murdered millions of Christians that they

called "heretics" for not accepting the Catholic teachings.

Its actually 7 mountains, not 7 hills. verse 9

"And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth." Rev 17:9

    ...that great city.... rev 17:18

  • @josephericlopez

    >>"purple and scarlet (bright red) color and gold for the golden cup, Revelation 17:4."

Right, Revelation 17:4 mentions purple and scarlet. But where are you getting that these are the official colors of the Catholic Church? The Vatican flag is yellow and white. The pope wears white.

    >>"Its actually 7 mountains, not 7 hills. verse 9"

Correct! The "7 hills" come from modern, non-KJV versions. That doesn't help your argument, though. There aren't 7 mountains near Rome.

  • The KJV says hills

    The others say mountains...

    What's the difference?

  • @josephericlopez You mean the KJV says mountains, right? Not hills. Revelation 17:9.

I don't think there IS much of a difference. But if you're a KJV onlyist, then maybe the new Bible translations are Satan's way of confusing us by calling them "hills" instead of "mountains". Maybe the corrupt new translations want us to think it's talking about the city of Rome, while the KJV shows us this isn't the case. :-)

  • Well, I have been a Christian for 15 years, and I have never been confused by that. So I don't think its a problem. It is clear to me who that passage is talking about.

  • @josephericlopez

    >>"It is clear to me who that passage is talking about."

Does it even matter to you what the KJV Bible says?

So, it's clear to you that the "seven mountains" here refers to the seven HILLS of Rome, and that means it is Vatican City, even though the Vatican is located on Vatican Hill, which is not one of the seven hills of Rome?

Aventine Hill, Caelian Hill, Capitoline Hill, Esquiline Hill, Palatine Hill, Quirinal Hill, Viminal Hill.

    Seven hills. No Vatican Hill.

  • What is your point?

  • you obviously are ignorant of the over 4,000 changes to the original manuscripts the NIV was taken from compared to the original of the KJV.... if you weren't so ignorant to this fact you probably wouldn't be ignorant enough to joke about it...

  • @richard4president I've heard countless KJV-onlyists tell me about the "seven hills" of Revelation 17:9. But that's the NIV translation.

If the NIV said 7 mountains while the KJV said 7 hills, they'd say it was a pagan conspiracy. If 1 Corinthians 6:9 in the NIV condemned the "effeminate" while the KJV condemned "homosexuals", they'd say the NIV was defending gays. If the Catholic Bible had 66 books while theirs had 73, they'd proclaim it as the number of the beast. But, it's not so.

  • 66 books is how many the KJV has.... im not nit picking about small things like whether or not they call a hill a mountain or anything like that.... but the way things are worded changes the meaning of some things for 1, they take out act 15:34 and they do change the things he says in this video they change the wording of Hebrew 11:11, John 3:13, Romans 13:9, Hab 5:2 all have different implied meanings with NIV i do use NIV to reference if i dont understand something but i mostly use KJV only

  • oops i mean Micah 5:2 not Hab 5:2

  • Hiya Richard. Quick comment regarding changed meanings. The "key" is not to make the KJV the standard...its not. The original and earliest manuscripts are the standard. You mention that the NIV takes out Acts 15:34. Its actually just the opposite.....The KJV "adds" this verse because Jerome added it in the Vulgate. This verse is NOT in the early MSS, which is why NIV doesnt have it. My NASB has it, buts its in brackets, to inform us of the addition. Good to know history here! :)

  • @richard4president The KJV is hardly the original, it's just older. King James wanted the bible to reflect his personal agenda.

If you want the original, learn to read Hebrew.....it's all mythology anyway.

  • i didnt say KJV was the original... the fact is, the NIV comes from the Alexandrian Codices, which were then edited by Wescott and Hort to change it to the gnostic agenda, and changed the original text in over 8,000 places... King James had no "agenda" Plus the Textus Receptus is way more reliable then the Gnostics scripts.... am i over your head?

  • @richard4president You're not over anyone's head, not over the age of 3 anyway.

Hmmmm, Wescott and Hort had an agenda but a ruler has no agenda.

Wow! King James was an altruistic homosexual! Thank you for recognizing that gays are people too.

  • you are outside of your mind bud... first off.. lets pretend he was a homo... the kjv still talks against homosexuality... WOW big shock to your agenda argument.... :)

  • king james wasnt a homo, he had a wife and 8 children...no proof whatsoever he was a homo

  • @ServantofGod3 Plenty of evidence, his personal corespondence to his male lovers has been thoroughly been researched by historians. Homo or bi, big deal.

The renovation of Apethorpe Hall in 2004-2008 reveals a secret passageway from King James bedchamers to the bedchambers of one George Villiers.

James' approval of that particular translation of the bible was to ensure the supposed divine right of nobility to rule.

His wife was a beard, pure and simple.

  • thats a load of garbage

  • @ServantofGod3 No, it's FACT. Put your fingers in your ears and sing La La La La, it doesn't change the facts.

  • ok can you present some hard evidence for that to me then? oh now u cant can ya

  • @ServantofGod3 Go to Amazondotcom, you can order "King James And the History Of Homosexuality" or "King James And Letters Of Homoerotic Desire."

At the very least you can check his bio on Wiki, not a very good source I'll admit but it's a good springboard for some links to historicle articles.

Are you the only person in America or the UK who doesn't know?

  • thats not really evidence...just some books written by some nobodies could be all lies

  • @ServantofGod3 Yeah right, his actual homoerotic letters wouldn't be any proof at all. Pfffft.....chicken. Let's face it, you're afraid of a book. Tells me all I need to know.

Remain an ignoramus, just try to keep it to yourself.

  • and how do you know he wrote those letters? what proof? at least i dont make up lies like you

  • @ServantofGod3 Lolol....this is getting pretty lame. He was a KING....these things are carefully preserved and researched, but yes, you would have to ask the researchers.

But you won't will you? You won't even read the book, or anything that might knock over your little house of cards.

Too damned scared and insecure to search for the truth, because you're afraid it's not what you want to hear.

You don't have much REAL faith do you?

  • Great stuff as usual. i love all the comments, shows your hitting a nerve. if the masses only knew what was going on behind the curtain since the garden of eden.but people do not think that kind of evil exists in the world.

  • @dazedabyss

Sure we believe in that kind of evil. We just think that the powers of hell don't generally proclaim Jesus as our Lord God incarnate, as you can read in nearly any Bible translation.

  • In the United Kingdom, you'll pay that royalty. The King James Version has a crown copyright in the United Kingdom.

There's no copyright in the United States because the copyright has expired. If you give the newer Bible versions a few more decades, they'll have no copyright either.

  • @BaronGrackle BINGO there's your answer.

  • The KJV has the UK copyright, but it never had a US copyright, and I don't have to ask the UK for permission to reproduce it and give it to anyone I want, but that is not true of any of the other versions.

  • @josephericlopez

    1) You don't have to ask the UK permission here in the US, but you would if you lived in the UK.

    2) In a few decades, you won't have to ask permission to reproduce and give any of the other versions either.

There is no argument. That's just how it is.

  • Missionaries all across the world including in the UK reproduce it without asking permission.

Old copyrights can be renewed by the way.

The argument is that you can't really copyright God's words, but you can man's words.

  • @BaronGrackle You are wrong because the Bible publishers will come out with new versions by the time the copyrights expire in order to continue making money. That is why none of the older versions whose copyrights have expired are being sold in substantial quantities anymore.

  • NIV is 100% free online. biblegateway.

what do you make of that?

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah, but you have to go online to read it.

  • I was just pointing out that it isn't being sold exclusively for a higher price.

  • If you're actually looking for God I don't think the version really matters. The message is still there.

A book of lies is a bit of a stretch if you ask me.

  • In other versions including the NIV, 2 versions of the gospel can be found, salvation by grace through faith, and salvation by works.

  • I think it depends on what you're looking for.

  • I'll have to set my NIV and King James side by side and check it out. How can I be attracted to the opposite sex without committing adultery? Especially with women like Amy Reid.

  • @wwe107

Compare the Bibles, your eyes will be opened!

My favorite is Acts 8:37 which is missing in the NIV, thus ruining the entire meaning of the scripture.

As far as fornication goes, when married to the opposite sex there is no fornication. But God does not recognize same sex marriage, thus it is ALWAYS fornication as well as an abomination to the Lord.

  • I'll check that out. I'm not gay. I can't help but be attracted and drawn by Amy Reid's huge breasts though. What I mean is, one has to have attraction through lust to find "love". How else does one get an erection? Let's be real here?

  • Furthermore, a man needs to be sexually aroused to get an erection, correct? You need to have lustful thoughts to get an erection. Hello? Channel 44, were are you?

  • @wwe107

Having to urinate really bad in the AM also causes an erection as well!

Not too mention young boys get an erection from what seems to be anything even grazing him or being suggestive. Where as men like me have total control of that kind of thing.

  • LOL. The bladder thing works for women too. Yeah right, total control. You missed my point.

  • Actually, if you electricute the prostate, you can give someone an involentary erection. It even works on people who are recently deceased.

Why we are on this topic, I have no idea.

  • It's "new" to me, but my wife actually bought it at the thrift store for $10! Every single one of my suits is from the thrift store and cost somewhere between $5 and $15. Sometimes you can even find very nice Italian suits that are like new for only $5-$10.

  • And you're ignorant.

  • Love it , Merry christmas of all things, what a way to worship your paganism. good one. you are smart

  • How do you know that?

  • Your lucky! I can't find a suits that fit me from there. :)

  • The same thing is true for the iPhone. I can download the KJV app for free.

The KJV does not have a US copy right, and so to copy right it you have to make enough substantial changes. That is the derivative copy right law.

All these false versions just keep proving King James right.

  • @josephericlopez

We learn something new all the time brother!

I've gone to watered down churches for several years and learned nothing. They never even read entire chapters. Just pick and chose verses out of it's context.

I've learned TONS since I've started going to this church. And it's all right there in the Bible.

  • The first church I attended is the only church that actually taught me any Bible or doctrine. The other I have attended, it seemed like I knew more about the Bible than the people there.

I have been a couple of places where it seemed that the Pastor knew the Bible, but he was not going to teach it to his people--Disgusting!

  • Non Inspired Version is right!

The big one Lucifer becoming Jesus! That happens because in Isaiah 14:12, Lucifer is out and morning star is in, and in the New Testament the morning star is Jesus Christ.

So Satan gets his wish in the NIV.

  • AMEN

  • Can you find nothing else to preach about? Apparently preaching salvation is not something you'd like to do. You'd like to either preach about the border guard or the "lets use the KJV because its the bible JESUS used" is way more important.

  • Preaching salvation? I do that door-to-door for several hours a week.

This may shock you, but the people who attend our church are actually saved so I don't keep preaching salvation to them every week over and over.

They're already saved. They need to learn the rest of the Bible so they can grow as a Christian.

  • @sanderson1611

    AMEN!

  • @mysteriousyoungman

Sir, you really should do some research before making such a statement. This preacher does a lot of preaching on salvation. Besides door-to-door evangelism, he also refutes works salvation in lots of his sermons.

In fact, it was one of those sermons that showed me "what must I do to be saved."

    Praise God.

  • @Kloudes

AMEN! I've personally heard him preach hours on salvation. :-]
