  • When you think this gem is soon to be known mostly for being butchered by marketing phenomena overhyped Susan Boyle, it's disheartening! Patty makes it sing in so many more ways than one. I can never keep a dry eye when I hear it. This version is hauting. Thanks

  • Yeah, really. Not to mention fucking Kelly Clarkson before Susan Boyle even. It's like in the '60s and early '70s when everyone recorded Dylan, Beatles, Buffy Sanite-Marie, Laura Nyro, Randy Newman, Joni, etc. songs but the covers where never as interesting as the originals, ya know? Same with Patty G. and others today. At least she gets the songwriter's royalties and we can try to ignore those other so called singers.
