Ah I'm sorry you misunderstood I think. :< By style I meant their musical style as well as overall aesthetic. Ever since about the time of their album Very Important Doll their music has become less interesting to me.

The way they looked and their awesome music videos were just a plus.

And as far as Bou goes, I LOVE Bou 8D But with the same topic, I don't listen to their recent music as they are without him because their music really /changed/ after he left in a way that I dislike it.

I've been coming to terms a little better about their newer music, actually (it's difficult for me to accept things like that though).

I guess we can't know for sure who really caused the change but I guess in the end it comes down to getting bigger as a band or just doing what you want with music. What I'm really worried about is their downfall due to growing to quickly (they're a band I definitely want to see live someday still).
