@123priney I had no problems with her - but ryudos brother kicked my ass alot and i was never able to beat the last boss before my dreamcast died - shame ps2's version of this is all sluggish
You know what, looking back at it, I can see why I liked it so much. It was because it was a lower budget game than say Final Fantasy or something. Reason being you could still tell they put a lot of effort into it.
It has that charm because it seems like something you or eye would do if we had the opportunity to make a game...yea, that's what makes this game and all its characters and attacks so special for me.
Wow, you spent a lot of time focusing on the little Eyes/healing. I went straight for Valmar's Eye, took out all the little annoying Eyes with Fallen Wings followed by two Beast King Blasts. I did about five Flying Tensikans to Valmar's Eye, and hit it a ton with Roan's Dragon attack. I finished him off in about 10 minutes. But I guess I can't criticize, your way worked too!
Hey i'm looking for the part in the game where they go to the cathedral and find out about the false praying to Valmar. If you know where I could find a video out of this, that would be helpful. Thanks alot :)
It's awesome to see someone use the deffending effectively. Usualy its completely abandoned by most players in these kinds of games. By the way, why was ryudo's life so low compared to the others? I havent played this game for a long time, but i don't recall him being so low compared to everyone else.
not bad but you should better attack with ae abilities like beast king blast or burn flame ... @ laurelin it isn´t everytime the best choice to attack the main boss ... i do the game this time only with lvl 1 attacks and then you have to boost your chars first ect. and have to defeat them one by one without allhealer ... I guess i will upload the first videos nearly silvester. But first i will upload the savespots ... i don´t wanna fight melfice 1 hour till he have no sp left again such early
one of the hardest bosses ever in the game!!!!!! i played it like 4 times and still playin it now, since it so awesome, yet this boss was harder than the rest
im fighting this boss right now but i have only level 22-24....
if i had level like you it would be so much easyer.....

Taking out the minion eye balls first should make it easier... some ice affinity should help. un block move scrolls paralysis cures...

Tales, Grandia, Valkyrie Profile 2, and Resonance of Fate, are the best rpg battle systems, by far, hands down

Game Arts is still around. They worked with Nintendo and a few other companies on Brawl, and they keep making their own games.

He always used binding eye on me
and I received half the damage
I dealt him...
The eye was a bastard for me to beat...

Defending really helps reduce in some games (such as this one), so I take advantage of it when I can.
I think Ryudo's HP was so low because his Defense was so much higher then the others. I only had to worry about spells hitting him.

@rock1644 I alwys took adavantage of defending, since I alwys kept my eye (lol) on the COM system.

If you attack the actual Eye of Valmar, not the tendrils or the eye bats, then once it's gone the rest just die, so Its best to focus on it first
