  • :'), tHIS IS THE HARD WAY

  • nice :)

  • their all right...great vid but u talk and to it so fast i could hardly follow ><

  • Why is the first picture at 0:25 different than the end result at the end of the tutorial ( 4:12 )? The first one looks better in my opinion.

    Anyone else notice this?

  • This is way too complicated.. Its much easier to just make the second layer gradient overlay and the mode overlay or something else..

    just like animekittygirl said.

  • the rainbow effect came out very linear, how did you get your example to be more radial? when I tried to use the radial gradient, it blended the colors more. I have PS Elements 8.

  • :o iv always dun it a diff way. i get anodr layr,uz the granit(in the cirlcle mode) n then set it 2 ovrlay or w/e

  • i have dark brown eyes and u cant see the pupil and wen i try to do this it dosent work well

  • good work.........

  • I can't figure out how to do that because I have photoshop elements 8 :/

  • i find that i use color for the blending mode and it works out nicely great tutorial 5/5

  • great video man!

  • was geht youtube,( :

  • Hi, I was just wondering if you could tell me how to change the colors in the gradient overlay thing. You know, custom colours instead of the preset ones. :)

    Thansk inadvance!

  • thanks cool effect

  • Good tuts man! :D

  • tnx fir you r tutorial~

    simple but pretty!~

  • Hey man, great tut, but it would be much faster if you would of simply set the rainbow layer as a clipping mask to the eye layer. Would spare you the precious time you spent on inverse selecting lol

  • do you have the link for this eye? its a good picture!

  • great job very in depth and simple

  • very good video, i will now trick my friends telling them im wearing... wearing... (sorry, i dont know how to say those plastic things that you put on your eye and it makes your eye look like a different color (i think its pupil glass))

showing them a picture of me with those eyes!!

  • its contact lens. :))

  • thank you so much 4 this

  • No problemo :)

  • Great tutorial, but you talk a little fast.

  • Thanks and I see well my newer videos i think are better, but ill keep that in mind :)

  • That was pretty cool! Thanks for sharing!

  • No problem thanks for commenting :)

  • Comment removed

  • it wont let me retransformit.

  • What does it say, when you try?

  • I figured it out. Thank you. Great video by the way, really helped!

  • is this possible in photoshop elements 8?

  • Im not too sure but worth a try i guess

  • i suggest first making the eye black an white so the rainbow color doesnt come out with a blue tint, other than that great vid, 5*

  • you are a god of photoshop (^_^) i learned more from your videos than i have from my photo editing teacher

  • haha thanks for the kind words, im glad it helped.

  • You could put the effect "polar coordinates" on the color to make the rainbow go around the eye :)

  • i tryed doing it but when i got to the bit of changing the motion blur when i finished it kept saying it needs to close :(

  • What your actual photoshop closes ?

  • Excelent, im not new to the photoshop thing but i dont know as much as others. thanks for the tutorial ill be watchin more from you.

  • Hey thanks man ! :D im glad i taught you something :)

  • man thats awesome

  • when i use the pen tool it makes the eye black wtf

  • That is becuase you are making a shape. Pause the video and make the top settings the same as mine or if not, keep doing it with the black shape but turn the opacity to 0% so you can see what your doing.

  • Hey also you could do a zoom blur. They tend to look pretty nice.

  • I'm gonna try this out now but with a lower-res image *Shrugs* might work haha

  • Just an extra step:

when you have your rainbow-colored layer, you might want to consider doing:

    Filter-Distort-Polar Coordinates-Rectangular to Polar

this makes the stripes and colors go out from the middle of the picture - and i think that looks cooler than vertical colors

  • Omg how could i of not thought of that ! Thanks LOL thanks for giving advice and if theres any tutorials you need made just tell me :)

  • This is amazing :)

  • Cool Just Cool

  • Thx I´ll try it ^^

  • i have a problem, after i choose invert selection the delete button does nothing...

  • this is solved sorry! the thing is that i can drag my rainbow but without the stripes... do i need to link layers together?

  • That happend to me too. :(

  • it;s nice thx for video keep it up

    ....

  • You rock, this is by far the coolest eye color tutorial out there!!! Keep up the great work, I love the videos!

  • omfg dude this is amazing thanks :)
