This is uncanny, I've just finished watching one of Slaxxxer's videos where he goes into this very concept in detail. About how in society we're all pressured to comprimize our identity in order to be chanelled into some kind of mainstream Conformist consensus of acceptable behaviour. This consensus is very narrow and restricting. A person can be completely rejected by their peers for breaking it, even if they're in no way intimnidating or insulting to the others... ctd
@benthejrporter society polices each other. i'm not sure if its human nature or we've been trained to be that way. i decided long ago i'd rather be myself than to appease everyone. it was exhausting trying to keep up and be "cool".
its rare to find others who are free from this "matrix" but they're out there. art really saved me....and gives me that special feeling she's talking about. she is very pretty btw!
@popas7 Get a pocket/phone cam and shoot a beautiful girl saying what you just said about "GMO foods, depleted uranium used by the troops and the bioengineering of the atmosphere." It will make a difference.
@lpggow It was simply appreciation of something refreshing from the usual stagnant presentations in media. In a world oversaturated with artificial people, resources and values it was refreshing to see a persons "soul light' shine. There is beauty and harmony in the world never or rarely seen because of corruption, cliques and self-aggrandizement. The internet will change this as we collaborate electronically and bring to light what should have always been: The Good, the Beautiful and the TRUE!
@HunkyTalkenMonkey01 look at her eyes, completely empty like her mind. shes running off lines that charlie gave her and doesnt have a clue what she is saying. she has no will of her own, and people like that are very easy to manipulate, once you own someones mind you can easily get them to do whatever you tell them.
@NlKNAK72 I don't see what you see. To me, her eyes are anything but empty. I see thoughtfulness & a subtle pain that everyone who has ever sought truth has come to know. I also see light in her eyes; a spark on consciousness that is so rare where I come from. I would like to add that I think it is very unusual for someone who's mind is owned by a psychopathic guru, to display this level of introspection. She seems very self-aware to me.
"The only way to do something special to deny yourself and run for something else". I agreed with her up until this point. I don't think denying your self is very "special" nor any way to achieve anything "Special"
@FanAssociateProducer I think this makes Karine's point, that you must become something else for acceptance, her aesthetic to outsiders should not be a factor, nor what anyone else thinks she should do/be/achieve to be accepted, or considered of value, as nothing else should be.
@lpggow It was simply appreciation of something refreshing from the usual stagnant presentations in media. Nothing wrong with being hard on yourself, at the least it will make you a more interesting person. Like my bro says: stupid people don't get depressed.
She needs to get the climate change problem straight. The whole solar system is getting warmer because of the sun. CO2 is essential for life. Humans are not the cause of global warming.
@popas7 oh great, glad you've figured that one out. but for now I'll stick with the thousands of scientists around the world who concur as to human-made global warming. As for C02, it's a question of balance, too much is like not enough.
@EmissionsImpossible Thousands of scientists, yes, as in Climate-gate, I get it.
Thanks to fake environmentalists like you we are losing all our civil rights. If you really cared about this planet you would be more concerned about GMO foods, depleted uranium used by the troops and the bioengineering of the atmosphere.
@popas7 Oxygen is also essential for life but too much of it and the atmosphere will burst into flames. The evidence strongly suggests human produced CO2 is causing climate change.
why all of these negative comments? she is doing exactly what she should do, being honest with herself which is a vital role in self healing. you are indeed a beautiful sparkle of light darling!
"On the spiritual train of life..... Perfection is the final destination; one must go through hell to get there. It is the purity of love that is the perfect destination."
She is so beautiful and it seems like she's really bright and lovely. Whoever told her that she needs to be 'special', which apparantly means she has to be something she's not because whatever she is 'is not special' was a damn fool. All you need to do in life is be yourself because everyone is already as unique and special as they can be. To quote Dr Suess: Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. x
in order to be happy we must first love who we are, to love who we are we must realise we are unique and nobody is in control of us and nobody can mould is into what they want us to be ! Keep the videos coming Charlie !
Fair play to Karine, but I'd disagree with her. I think people, myself included, can be tough on themselves because on a level, usually subconscious, we're aware of our inherent potential and are frustrated at our own distractions that erode on the nirvana we could be experiencing by spending our time on less futile activities. We're not tough on ourselves because of a lack of self-love, but because we *do* love and understand ourselves enough to want more than this.
No matter what. How beautifull you are or how uglly you are. You are One, and there isnt anyone like you in the entire world. Being hard on your self mostlly comes from believing that one can achive much more, and havent been in the right place at the right time as most of us Dream about as youngsters!! To hell with objects, what about the acquisition of political power, which to my mind means people crawling on the floor before the Royal We; i am just being honest here!
i dont think that you should deny yourself but rather strive to get perfect , with the knowledge you are never going to be perfect so you dont get frustrated when you dont actually reach perfection
@ulkord : I'm pretty sure part of her point is that fruitless or hopeless striving leads to suffering. At least, that's if I'm right to interpret her in a buddhistic way.
@ulkord < Ancient wisdom says mind is often ceased by one of the five enemies : lust, anger, greed, attachment to people\places\things or arrogance. Which prevent mind from getting enlightened.
Denying yourself something as a conscious choice is good but not as an unconscious act or via external control.

@andthereisntone never. but this is what makes us humans so endearing. it's never wrong to ask questions, and why do we always have to do things to get "anywhere" =)
@andthereisntone It is a huge part of psychological counseling. And since counseling has plenty of studies showing noticeable and long lasting improvements in people's lives, then I would say yes.
