I actually like this style of drumming because of its intensity. Trust me, you won't be playing these songs (correctly) after just 3 months of practicing them. The drummers here have been playing this style music for YEARS in order to get where they are with it. they dont sit down for 3 months and go "hey, im gonna make a melo-death band and be instantly amazing at every fill roll and Bbeat" It took me about 3-5 months to learn alot of Moon's music. I'm still learning this.
